Just need a little bit longer cord for something. This short cord fit the bill to a tee.

Well, after reading a lot of the reviews, I bought one. Heres what I can tell you. The socket end is the polarized type with one narrow input and one wide input. The plug, on the other hand is of the older non-polarized type - both prongs of the same width. See the pics of what I received. The item IS NOT one foot long. The wire itself is 16 inches. Add the socket end + plug end and it becomes about 21 inches long (nearly two feet!?!) Again, see the pic of the one I received against a measure. And finally, the female end is stamped for 10 Amp service, NOT 12 Amp as described. The two pics are the same item, just laid out on two different surfaces. Three star because item works fine but... ...inaccurate length and amperage description, AND having a polarized socket but NOT a polarized plug end (WTH?).

I decided to mount my tv in the hardest spot in the house. Lol. And of course there’s no outlet except one that is juuuuust 1-2 inches away. I was using a 6-10’ extension cord that was just laying there ghetto af. Then I found these 1 footers! Perfect! So glad they make these! Pay attention to the polarized options compared to what kind of item you’re needing to plug in. Make Sue’s you Get the right one! Would definitely buy again if needed.

So I miscalculated and would have had to pull a LOT of cable management staples/clips so the need for this was 100% on me. Im glad I picked this up as it is as sturdy and reliable as something like this needs to be and the price was right. If you also mess up measuring and need that TINY bit more length/reach go ahead and get this.

None of the standard two prong plugs in my house fit in this cord. Most plugs have one side a bit taller than the other but this cord does not account for this fact.

FYI not polarized
