Wow,,,tried to simply punch starter divet in aluminum. The punch fell apart after three activations.

To use. And the tips bend easy when working with steel.

Great idea - big plus it’s easy to see on your work bench & won’t roll off Only reason it didn’t get 5 stars It needs a more HD spring The dimple is to light your have to hit it repeatedly to get a good punch mark.

Bought it to break Glass. Would not use it as a punch for drilling as it does not have enough power for that. Tested it on mild steel and could barley see any mark at all. Aluminum it might work as I can see a mark that may be big enough for drilling, but it would have to be a tiny bit to get it started. Anyway. Bought it to escape an automobile as I will be driving a Tesla Model 3 and I will need to get out if my lipos start to arc for what ever reason. 6500 degrees if that starts.. I am getting out!!

Great product for price, it works as intended but could be a little stronger punch.

Ive had numerous of these spring hammerless cemter punches, but these are nothing impressive at all. I have what I thought was the cheapest one from Harb@% Freight and that one works much better than these! That isnt saying much. I was trying to use them again today to mark for holes in some 1/8 mild steel and finally gave up and went to the old manual punch and hammer. I will be contacting the supplier for a replacement or refund.

I really thought these center punches would be cheap. I was wrong. They are heavy, come with an extra set of punches. You can reduce or increase the pressure for whatever you need to create a center punch on. Im very impressed with this product. I like how its made. It has a diamond pattern texture that provides extra grip to hold onto it. If I ever needed to buy another center punch, I would buy these again, no doubt. I definitely didnt waste my money buying these.
