> 3 dayIm 70 yrs old..have a hard time with my arthritic hands. This tool is amazingly he!pful when i want the pound a nail, set a screw, insert a hook in wood. You just give it about 5 quick easy pushes..and presto! A nice little hole to start your nail or whatever!

> 3 dayI ordered 2 center punches that appeared the same on the Amazon website. This one was substantially cheaper, and now I know why. After testing both center punches on a sheet of plywood, this one stopped working after 3 punches. It lacks the spring power needed to make a dimple in relatively soft wood, so I am certain it would never leave any mark on hardwood or metals as it should. There are other options available, so I recommend choosing one of those over this one.

> 3 dayIve had this tool for maybe a year now. It worked fine at first, but after a couple months of light use the punch started behaving inconsistently, often not punching. After disassembly and reassembly it would punch properly again. Or maybe if you shake it without disassembling it or use it as just the right angle, it will start working again. Skip this and buy a better product unless you want a tool that is a hassle and a distraction.
