Well it worked for the first 30 minutes, had to open it to multiple times but it did its job. It does leave a TINY indentation, wish the impact was a bit harder and the indentation bigger. I used a 3/32 drill bit and I could bearly see the mark. I think it is better for wood and aluminum wouldnt recommend it for metal

every one needs one of these to accurately mark a spot without requiring a hammer and another hand. Just position the point and press down on the tool until the spring loaded tool places a nice dent without requiring a hammer. Get a couple now. If you don’t need 2 give one to a friend.

These are accurate, solid built, and the spring has an effective impact on wood and aluminum. Definitely worth the money, and I would buy this punch set again and recommend it as an ideal gift for any DIYer or woodworker.

Great product for price, it works as intended but could be a little stronger punch.

This center punch doesnt make a good indentation in steel applications. Half the time it doesnt work also. Im constantly trying to repair it.
