> 3 dayThis does WONDERS for keeping the light out and making it possible to share space with a young child while traveling. Ours is 2 years old and weve been using it since they were about 17 months old. Weve used it on several vacations in hotels and visits to other homes. Its easy to become good at assembling/disassembling it quickly and fitting it back into the carrying case it comes with. I would often assemble it, then just lift it up and fit it over the bed in question. Easier than trying to assemble it over the top of the bed. It fits over all port-a-cribs (pack & plays etc) and every crib I encountered, though a couple of those we needed to lean into the fact that the fabric is a bit stretchy (didnt stretch out though!). This is a particularly useful device when traveling in colder weather, as the interior of the slumberpod is about 5 degrees Fahrenheit hotter than the space around it. Even with the ventilation windows open. This was a bit of a challenge in summer months when the interior of the slumberpod was pushing 86F. We needed a fan to keep things cool enough for the little one to sleep well, even with a minimum of clothes on.

Greater than one weekSo I debated buying the slumber pod for a long time. It’s just too expensive for what it actually is in my opinion! But it does work!! My son slept great in this when we shared a room with him for vacation. It is totally black out. However, it gets very warm and stuffy inside the pod so I’d recommend getting a fan to circulate the air. It also fit perfectly over the graco pack n play.

Greater than one weekUsed this while traveling and it was a lifesaver! We had to stay in a hotel room and my infant goes down at 7pm. This tent kept his bed pitch black even while we had lights on in the room. It was a game changer for us and we will bring this on all trips!

> 3 dayI bought this for my grand child and love it. Previously, it was “fun” using pillows and blankets to create a dark room and required prior planning. Now it’s easy!! No more wishing for better black out curtains or worrying about traveling

> 3 dayI learned about the Slumberpod shortly after my daughter was born but kept holding off because of the price. Our family on both sides live 2-4 hours away so we have travelled frequently since our daughter was born to try to see family regularly, usually sleeping with her pack’n’play crammed next to our bed wherever we’re staying. I used to silently shove my husband whenever he moved around at night for fear of the sound of blankets moving alerting our daughter to us being in the same room (even over the sound machine). When she got big enough to see over the edge of the pack’n’play, though, it was game over: she’d peer over, see me a foot away, and that was the end of sleep— whether 3am or 6am. So I finally bit the bullet and put $200 into this black tent, praying it would be worth it. Holy cow— it was! We used it two weekends back-to-back in different locations as soon as we got it and we all slept until a normal wake time! And our 23 month old loves it. To her, it’s a fun novelty. BUT… I’m very worried it’s short lived because one of the pole pockets was already ripped the first time I used it. I’m praying it holds up before I have to pay another $200. We couldn’t immediately return because of back-to-back family visits and now our return window is closed. Disappointing to have to worry about this already because of a quality issue, especially at this price point. In the end, it’s a life-saver but it’s a luxury item because of price (especially if it doesn’t last). Yes, it’s a pain to assemble because of size (you need space) but it’s easy to move once set up and not difficult to figure out. I’d give it five stars if not for the torn rod pocket and concerns about lasting quality.

> 3 dayJust got back from traveling for the holidays. We spent a few nights at a hotel and the SlumberPod delivered. Once you get the hang of it the assembly process takes about 5 minutes or so. Things that I really liked: Portability, ease of use, doesnt take a lot of space. It has 4 vents that you can open so that air can circulate for the young one. It has a small pocket area on top of the SlumberPod so that you can insert your camera to be able to see video feed in your babys monitor. The size of the opening to get access to your baby is the right size in my opinion. The material (shell portion) looks like its made of good quality. I also appreciate the fact they provide a bag that you can stow and carry all of the equipment needed for the SlumberPod. A few things I wasnt a big fan of: 1.) The clear plastic that is used to hold the camera can really give of a glare and it took me some time to try to get a good clear video feed to our baby monitor. Not sure if much can be done about that. 2.) The bottom of the SlumberPod it looks like there is some excess cloth material which I think is a great idea, but what I noticed is that where the materials break off to make the corners. You can still see a bit of light coming in, I did my best to mess with it to try and get any light from outside from coming inside. Im not sure what can be done to correct that. Overall: This is a great invention and product!

> 3 dayThis is my first Amazon review but this product deserves it! I can’t put a price on sleeping through the night… it may be pricey but it freaking works! We’re on our way home from a trip and both nights my toddler slept through the night and stayed in his pack and play. He had climbed out recently and wakes up regularly, I needed something to help with those issues. Not only did he stay in, he wanted to get in it, and he slept until 9 AM!!!!! Buy it, you won’t be disappointed! The only negative is set up takes a few minutes. It’s not hard, just takes a little while. 10/10!
