This thing is amazing if you travel as much as we do. Even just to take to my in-laws house when we visit, it’s so great to have a space where we can put my son that’s guaranteed to be dark. The one con is that the fan doesn’t work unless you rig it so it can get air. The zip pocket for the fan is a smart idea, but the fan itself is too small for it. We had to lift a small area of the side of the slumberpod up on something and didn’t end up using the zip pocket at all because of this.

I was skeptical when buying but thought I would give it a try. This is amazing and actually works!!!!! Vacation is always stressful to me because it throws off my babies and toddlers but with this they were not fighting naps and simply went to sleep right away. I was also concerned my young toddler would feel trapped or afraid but this wasn’t the case at all either. It’s so high/ tall and the zipper portion is so big and has an awesome design. Highly highly recommend and worth the money!!

My toddler is a little bit afraid of it being zipped, but she thinks it is very cool otherwise. We are having another little one in March 2023 and we will be using it more for travel and even at home when baby sleeps in our room. Overall, I would recommend for parents who have kids who need dark room for sleep/naps.

The slumberpod worked wonders when my husband and I traveled with our 9 month old a few weeks ago! The material is total black out and our daughter slept very well in it! I do highly recommend the fan with it bc our baby monitor has a temperature reading on it and it was approximately 5 degrees warmer in the tent (per the baby monitor) after she was sleeping in it for several hours. Also, we had to cut a hole in the plastic that holds the baby monitor so we could get a good picture. Not a huge deal but maybe plan to set it up and try before you travel so you can have it ready if need be. It was also a little difficult to reach down in the pack n play to pick her up with the slumber pod over it. I am 5’ 9” and she weighs 20 pounds so between my height and her weight the opening just wasn’t quite big enough but overall manageable for a short time!

    Greater than one week

I bought this for my grand child and love it. Previously, it was “fun” using pillows and blankets to create a dark room and required prior planning. Now it’s easy!! No more wishing for better black out curtains or worrying about traveling

We would not survive family vacations without this product! This is the only reason we are able to share a room with our infant, and it’s easy! The SlumberPod is so dark and filters out all noise while your little one sleeps. Amazing customer service as well!

Very easy to build, packs down to carry-on size package. It does get warm inside but we just remove one layer and set the fan to the highest setting. We bought the slumber pod and fan bundle. The only con is the camera pouch is plastic and if your camera isn’t heavy enough the plastic will obscure the image but I just cut the plastic and used bag clips to hold up our Kasa camera. Overall highly recommend

I literally never write reviews. Im going to write a review here for 2 reasons: 1. This product is EXACTLY what we needed for our 16 month girl during our spring break trip. We spent so much time sleep training her, and we werent wanting to disrupt her sleeping rhythm. The AirBnBs and hotel rooms we stay in dont always have a way to keep her sleeping area dark (especially during nap time). Ive seen the other products out there, and they pretty much act as a cover for an existing travel crib. Those are fine for infants/newborns, but not for when your toddler can stand up in the crib/pack-n-play - it would be too claustrophobic. Also, we were able to use our Nanit camera (with a little finagling) through the top of the tent (Ill need to modify it just a bit). Lastly, it packs up nice and tight and easy. 2. The company made a mistake - they were supposed to rush deliver me the product (which I paid extra for), but they mistakenly shipped it ground. That kinda stuff happens. But I did need the product. So they a) overnighted me the product directly to the AirBnB I was staying at, and b) refunded me the extra shipping fee I paid for. Its not about issues - its about how companies deal with issues. And they did it right. Deserving of mention and this review. Excellent product, great customer service.

We are excited to try this product this summer when we travel, however trying to set this up can be very frustrating. We camp a lot and are used to tents that use a two pole cross like this and I found this one to be very cumbersome to put up with one person. The fabric is much heavier than a tent, causing it to be weighed down and this causes the poles to bend and separate as you are trying to slide them through the tent slots. I tried putting it up then threw it in the corner in frustration - need to wait until husband is home. Beware this is a two-person job.
