> 3 dayWe travel with our baby a lot and she goes to bed at 7pm. This has been an absolute game changer for hotel rooms. She can sleep and we can walk by her and not wake her. We can have lights on, watch stuff on our iPads, and she’s fine, she actually sleeps better than at home! We were worried with heat being an issue so we got the fan but due to rooms having air conditioning we haven’t needed to use it. If you share a room with your baby, this is a must have!

> 3 dayLove this product. I found it very easy to install, although can be tricky in a small space as the poles need to be bent but straightforward and once constructed can be picked up and moved easily. I didn’t experience any of the chemical smells other reviews cite. My only gripe, and actually it is quite significant, is that it is not camera friendly. You’re supposed to poke your crib cam into this clear plastic bag which makes any video blurred and unworkable. The only way I found to do it is to make a hole and put the camera through that and somehow try and wedge it so it points at the mattress. Workable but difficult and far from ideal. If they manage to fix that, it would be perfect.

> 3 dayBought this for my 9 month old in preparation for DisneyWorld. He’s been a pretty good sleeper since birth but every time we would travel he would be awful as we would all be in the same room. Normally does not wake up overnight or if he does like once. When we travel he wakes up every 2-3 hours. It’s exhausting and I didn’t want to ruin Disney with his sleep habits. So I purchased this. I’ve been trying it out in his room to get him used to it before we go to Disney. He slept from 6:30pm- 8:30am the first night. I was shocked. He never sleeps that much. Tried it for his naps that are usually 30 min- 1 hr long. He slept for 2.5 hours. I don’t know what kind of sorcery this cloth tent has but whatever it is, it’s worth it. At first I was dreading Disney bc of his sleep, but now I’m actually looking forward to it. If you’re on the fence, just do it. Pull the trigger and buy this. You won’t regret it.

> 3 dayI was hesitant to spend this much, but it was 100% worth it. We tried it out for the first time memorial day weekend. The room we were in was very bright in the early morning, but it was still pitch black in the pod. Our 8 month old slept 12.5 hours every night in this thing. 10/10. A little tricky to set up initially, but absolutely no regrets.

> 3 dayThis product is a LIFESAVER for people traveling with a baby who likes his own sleeping space. My 10 month old is used to sleeping in his own crib, in a dark space with his sound machine and this is perfect for creating that space for him when we travel!

22-11-2024I bought this for my second baby (she’s almost 2 now) and wish I’d had it much sooner! We used it on our cruise and it worked like a dream. Room sharing has never been easier, especially with a sound machine. Couldn’t recommend this enough. Totally worth every penny!

> 3 dayWe purchased the SlumberPod for a trip to Disneyland where our family of five all stayed in the same hotel room. Our toddler is used to sleeping in their own room in the pitch black, so we were very happy to find this solution. The SlumberPod worked wonderfully for our toddler. It is advertised as a blackout canopy, and that is exactly what it is. Even when placed next to a window with full sun, this thing is as opaque as a wall. Weve even used it when spending a day up the mountain, and it blocks the sun as well outside as it does inside. The opening for a fan works very well, and the baby monitor sleeve ensures that we can see our toddler while they slumber. The only thing that we did not like about the SlumberPod is that the baby monitor sleeve is made of clear plastic, which means it does not allow for airflow. Our baby monitor has a thermometer, and because it couldnt breathe in the sleeve, the heat generated by the monitor from being plugged in and one gave us inaccurate readings of the temperature inside the SlumberPod. That first night of use, we were very concerned by the nearly 90 degree temperature readings within the Pod, but we quickly realized that the monitor was just overheating in the sleeve and that the fan blowing air into the Pod was actually doing a great job at keeping it cool. I may decide to do some DIY modifications to remedy this problem. Other than that, it is a great product that has our familys stamp of approval.

> 3 dayWe have a vacation home and plan for our entire family to all be there at the same time at least once a year. Having 4 new babies born just this year, I am a little concerned about how everyone will sleep since each family will be sharing one bedroom with all their kiddos. When my daughter-in-law showed me this, I looked at other less expensive options but, based on reviews, I decided we should give this one a try. I just purchased one to see what I think before ordering multiples. It arrived today and is perfect. It assembled in minutes and is a definitely a great quality. The fabric has a quality feel, with a nice stretch to it. It fits perfectly over our Babyletto cribs and the portable toddler bed I have, creating a cozy space for kiddos. I cant get over how dark it is inside! Im placing an order for a few more, so each baby has one. Im also adding fans since it does seem like it could get a little stuffy inside without them. I think their parents are definitely going to thank me! I posted pictures to show the pod size next to the Babyletto crib (inside and out) as well as a picture of the portable toddler bed inside the pod. **I will update my review after the babies have tested them out**

> 3 dayI dont know that its fair for me to review this item as its such a useful and amazing tool for so many parents but Ill give it a shot. It is wonderful quality, easy to put up, blocks light well- I really cant complain about the product... Except my child is terrified of it. My child who has blackout windows and sleeps in a dark room for bedtime and naps nearly has a panic attack anytime you try to make him go near this tent. We tried getting inside of it and showing him it was okay, or playing with him around it, we just had it sitting innocently in the corner, we attempted to make a game of peekaboo out of it, and NOPE he wants absolutely nothing to do with it. I am at a loss. He is about to outgrow his pack and play and I dont know how we are going to travel with him (hes not even 2 yet) but I dont think that this SlumberPod is going to be a part of the equation, unfortunately. Its pretty expensive if theres no pay-off and for us it doesnt seem like there will be one.
