> 3 dayI got this for my husband who absolutely was in need of a bag for work. He is a police officer and he is required to have many items on hand while on duty. This bag is well made and sturdy. Has many compartments and a divider that can be taken out for wider space need or can be secured back into place with velcro on both divider and inside the bag. He can easily find everything hes looking for being the bag makes it easy to organize.

> 3 dayThis bag is great. It has plenty of room for my portable DVD player, PSP and 3ds. Theres is also room for DVDs and plenty of games. I guess if you need to bring work stuff with you theres room for that also. The zippers and material are great quality. Theres plenty of pockets. I dont really care for the middle divider thing on the inside, it seems sorta cheap. The middle part is the only downside but still worth 5 stars

22-11-2024Im using the Patrol Ready Bag as a range bag and it works just fine. These are the items I am able to carry in it: 2 Glock Pistols in their Glock boxes, 1 Ruger Mark 1 in a pistol rug, various paper targets, 4 pairs eye protection (stored in the waterbottle pouches), 4 pairs hearing protection, 3 smaller sized tupperware type containers for various caliber ammo, staple gun, 2 rolls of tape (duct and packing), baggie of disposable ear plugs, 3 extra Glock magazines, 1 extended Glock magazine, and clamp on bipod. Im sure Im forgetting something but the point is that I usually going shooting with the family so I need to pack extra gear and this bag does that admirably. I was using a gym bag before and it felt flimsy compared to this bag. The material is heavy duty and the zippers are sturdy. As a patrol bag, this should work fantastic. As a range bag, I think this is excellent as well.

Greater than one weekIve had this thing for a while now. The only complaint is that I wish the lid had a loop to attach it to the headrest because it keeps sliding down between the seat and the bag and I find this irritating. Other than that, the bag has held up really well and has a good amount of room for all my patrol crap. The adjustable dividers are convenient but when I hastily throw small itms into one pocket they roll right on over to the next one.

> 3 dayIve had this bag for 6 years now. it was great for when I did security I could hold copies of all my shift and incident reports, flashlights, had a place for a sidearm if the site I was going to required one, and of course holders for my thermos and cup for those long cold nights at constructions sites. I carried my laptop in it for the desk jockey accounts as well. I felt it made me more efficient as there was no moment of hold on and let me go get the paperwork from the car. I even used it for training newer security personnel on how to search lock bags and was never worried that they would damage the zipper. I left security and I took the bag with to my new career in steel production and I was certain the bag would be ruin within a year being exposed to such extreme conditions, much to my delight and surprise the bag lasted for 5 years of probably the roughest environment it could ever be exposed to. The worst it suffered for all of it was tears on the back where it rubbed against my tools and the zipper loosing its hold. all and all I am very impressed with the bag and I am no only looking again as the tears are getting big and I am worried with will get to the point where the bag will split. If I do get another bag, it will probably be another one just like it.

> 3 dayI know the dimensions were posted for this bag; however, its much larger than I anticipated. I thought it would be too small. Its perfect. Really deep. Sturdy. Stands on its own. The water bottle holders fit 1 liter poland spring bottles completely. The side pockets are alright. Small, but good for holding things like screwdrivers and tools. I havent found a use for the front outer pocket. Its a bit tight. Maybe some folded documents. The maglite holder is useless. It will fit on a 4D+ maglite which is fine; but, it wont hold it secure and it slips out from the back end and hangs. The pockets and pen holders on the inside of the flap are great. I have pens, phone charger, batteries for flashlight, and medicine in this part. The larger interior pocket is great. Very deep and wide enough to fit a Cold Steel Trench Hawk in. (Or SOG Tactical Hawk). Right now with the dividers I have a Trench hawk, Gerber LMF 2 in the longer section. 4 boxes of 9mm (50rnd) ammo in the smaller section. A change of clothes and a box of (200) nitrile gloves. There is plenty of room for more stuff. I purchased this bag as a go bag for my car for everyday. Still have to fill it with more stuff like medical supplies, etc. The construction of this bag is great. Im really liking the 5.11 brand. (I havent tried their boots; but seeing them on other people after use and hearing them complain about comfort I doubt Ill be switching from bates any time soon.) The only complaint I have is the divider on the inside is a bit hard to attach properly. Its great that it can be removed but its a little tricky getting the velcro seated perfect. Not really an issue just anal about it. Perfect size to hold a lot of gear and still fits perfectly on a front seat. Highly recommend this bag.

> 3 dayAs a LEO, this bag is about as essential to me as any other gear I carry on my person. It holds all of the following gear (and more): two file folders for paperwork/forms/ticket books that I use daily, drug testing kit, digital scale, digital camera, clipboards, in-car printer paper, hand sanitizer wipes/bottles, pens, cuff keys, cuffs, tourniquets, extra pocket notebooks, traffic vest, winter gloves/hat, extra cell phone chargers/cables, one of my back-up guns/ extra mags... I have never used the shoulder strap- I just lug it by the handles every shift, and its been great. The velcro has held its grip on pockets that I frequent, and I havent seen a single snag in the canvas exterior from daily use. Sure, its bulky, but I love having everything while on patrol that I need right next to me and right where its supposed to be. Bottom line: itll hold just about everything except a long gun. I couldnt effectively serve my city without this bag holding 99% of my gear/paperwork/etc. Its worth it.

> 3 dayWorks well as a patrol bag. I purchased on Amazon because it was cheaper than 5.11 sales at the time. Comes brand new. Used this same bag for 7 years before replacing it for same bag. Has nice compartments to organize your gear.
