The item fits my needs perfectly although I am not involved with police work. I use this bag more as a workout/work bag. I am able to pack a lunch into the bag along with, work out clothes, wallet, protien shakes, bottles of water and ear buds. There are also some velcro tabs on top that I attach my watch to which could also be utilized to snap keys to or any item you need to get quickly without searching around in the bag. The clear pocket on the back of the bag works well for placing an ID badge in as well and scanner systems are able to pick up the badge without the need for removal. The bag also offers a divider for the inside which separates the bag into 3 sections. This divider is attached through velcro and is fully removal. The 1st section runs the length of the bag & divides the bag in half. The second pocket is probably 5 inches in length and 4-5 inches in width & the 3rd pocket is just a shorter version of the 1st section due to the fact that the second pocket utilizes some of the space.

This bag is definitely worth the money. It has room, construction, multiple carry straps and has had many positive comments when people see it. It took me several months to find this bag and I am very pleased I chose this one. It is very large and can carry most items you could need. Clothing, food, tools and much more. This bag could carry multiple bowling balls and have no issues, that’s how well it’s made. Definitely would recommend!

I am a powerlifter and was in need of a bag with plenty of organization and pockets for the bands, knee sleeves, wallet, etc. This bag most definitely provides all of the storage and organization needed. It is extremely durable and after sharing the product in the stories on Instagram, Ive had some others say they need to buy this bag as well.

I have destroyed more luggage over the last 30 years than I want to think about. I refuse to spend the money on a TUMI bag. I have destroyed very expensive Coach bags, and even a super expensive Zero Haliburton hardcase. I stuff my cases with paper and myriad cords and devices. This cop bag has become my working briefcase. Its size garners comments (how can you carry such a big bag???). It is BIG (i need it to be) but it is LIGHT, tough, and (generally) well designed. It doesnt look like a typical briefcase but it is NOT out of place in a business setting -- it doesnt scream police or military equipment.: The ONE thing I wish for is a larger external pocket big enough for my small laptop --- for temporary stowing as I go through airport security. I am considering buying another to have in reserve after I destroy this one ... though it is holding up really well, so I do not know when that will be.

This bag comes with me every day on patrol, and carries everything I need including traffic vests, miscellaneous tools, spare cuffs, spare mags, law books, and snacks. I am one to carry everything AND the kitchen sink with me on patrol, and it has proven helpful. I have this bag packed with stuff and it has held up well, despite being heavy, and keeps it all organized. The straps are well made and the seams are strong. I have seen many other brands of duty bag and the 5.11 offering is the only one that really lasts. I like the Velcro patch on the lid, and I stuck a reflective tactical patch on it. It looks sharp and distinguishes my bag from those of other officers during roll call.

I got this for my husband who absolutely was in need of a bag for work. He is a police officer and he is required to have many items on hand while on duty. This bag is well made and sturdy. Has many compartments and a divider that can be taken out for wider space need or can be secured back into place with velcro on both divider and inside the bag. He can easily find everything hes looking for being the bag makes it easy to organize.

Admittedly, Im not the target market. Im not a first responder or a member of the military, so Im admittedly not using my patrol bag to go ON patrol. HOWEVER: I bought one of these in the middle of 2018, and it has been knocked about and treated with no great ceremony in that time. Ive taken bus trips with it, hauled it in and out of a semi truck every two weeks, overloaded it with crap to the point I was sure Id break the strap, whole nine yards. Bag is still absolutely, positively flawless. No rips, strap still secure and holding strong, all the zippers still work, whole nine yards. Its a bit dirty (not the bags fault, definitely mine), but for all its been through its holding up amazingly well. Seriously can not recommend this enough for anyone that just needs to be prepared for every eventuality (and needs the storage for items TO USE in every eventuality), this is your bag. It also works fantastically as a laptop bag, I bought a second one since I bought a gaming laptop and I can fit the laptop, my mouse, my headset, three different external drives, the wireless station for my headset, a USB hub, the charging cable, a controller, and a shit-ton of other cables in there neatly -- and Ive still got room to spare. It is seriously worth every penny thus far and I have no reason to suspect they wouldnt still be hauling my crap around in 10 years time.

I have been through several of these types of bags over the years. This has been the most durable so far. I would recommend

Purchased Jan 2014. I used it as a saddle bag for my wheelchair. It is fabulous, great size and fabulous pocket set-up. The only problem (and one that is likely due to my inappropriate use) is that the baton loops failed--one ripped and the other had to be cut to free it from my chair; I used them to wrap around the arm of the chair and thu8s they had to hold the weight of the entire bag and contents. BE SURE you buy this from an authorized dealer (Amazon is not) in order to have a warranty.
