My return and lower than a 5-star rate is that it is larger than heavier than expected. I was expecting something more lightweight. I do not know if the online description had changed between my view and purchase. Overall, looks sturdy as promised.

I use this bag as a FF and EMT cadet, it has plenty of room for all my books, laptop, binder, basic medical supplies, pens. You name it it’s got the room for it. I recommend this bag to anyone who carries lots of items to and from their vehicle multiple times a day.

I would prefer a few more pocket options, but for the price and quality, its great.

Ok, I have had this thing for almost a year now. It is still here, so my quality issues are somewhat mute, but still important. I keep my bag pretty weighed down between all of the mumbo jumbo paperwork, policy handbooks, and state/municipal code books as well as my college books for when there is downtime. There are places for water bottles, end caps for random things like bug spray or sunscreen and various pouches for all the extra crap a cop might drag around. If I put anything else in here I would be out on medical leave for my back. The only reason a 4 instead of a 5 is because within a few weeks of getting it there was slight tearing on one of the seams on the lid. Nothing else since then, and the strap has held up to all the weight I have in it. Just was a little surprised how fast it tore.

I use this everyday as my patrol bag. This is big enough to hold the essentials. This also fits perfectly on the passenger seat. Sturdy construction makes me confident it will last a long time.

I officiate High School track meet and have accumulated quite a bid of gear; tape measures, starter pistols, clip boards, stop watches etc. This bag holds it all along with water bottles and I can strap an umbrella to the top for foul weather. Its reasonably water resistant and seems sturdy enough to make it through a few years of hard use. I carry about 25 pounds of equipment. I like this bag, I had a back pack which held most of this stuff and if I put it on the ground it would fall over and always gave me trouble finding things. This bag sits up nice and opens wide to view everything. The only thing I would change is the top, it has two zip compartments and a Velcro flap which hold paper and pens. The problem I have is when the top is open it flips over and the compartments are upside down. it would be great if they were the other way around or there were straps to hold the top vertical. Other than that its a great bag.

    Greater than one week

The item fits my needs perfectly although I am not involved with police work. I use this bag more as a workout/work bag. I am able to pack a lunch into the bag along with, work out clothes, wallet, protien shakes, bottles of water and ear buds. There are also some velcro tabs on top that I attach my watch to which could also be utilized to snap keys to or any item you need to get quickly without searching around in the bag. The clear pocket on the back of the bag works well for placing an ID badge in as well and scanner systems are able to pick up the badge without the need for removal. The bag also offers a divider for the inside which separates the bag into 3 sections. This divider is attached through velcro and is fully removal. The 1st section runs the length of the bag & divides the bag in half. The second pocket is probably 5 inches in length and 4-5 inches in width & the 3rd pocket is just a shorter version of the 1st section due to the fact that the second pocket utilizes some of the space.

I spent $100 on a different 5.11 duty bag and it did not have the storage that I needed. This bag is perfect for everything I have and still room for more, I recommend it for any Officer. Quick shipping, arrived before the projected date

What is it: Patrol bag What I liked: Fantastic quality. I had originally purchased the 5.11 tactical go bag, but found it was too small for use as a range bag. This was a fantastic size - lots of room (could easily fit 2 or 3 pistols in hard cases inside with room to spare). Nice compartment separation for hearing/eye protection, ammo, and so on. High quality zippers, and they do allow a travel lock to be slipped into the zippers to keep it shut. High quality construction, with an ID panel on the outside to easily identify your bag. What I didnt like: Nothing - great bag, great quality - perfect size as a larger range bag. Would I buy it again/recommend it? Yes, good product would recommend for variety of uses.
