> 24 hourWith a product like this, its either going to be great or absolutely horrible. I am happy to say these were great. They fit my 2/0 awg wire perfectly. You could probably solder them to the wire, but I ended up crimping it with a hydraulic crimper.

> 24 hourGreat - Solid copper accurate sizing The foot of the terminal where you mount the lug is about 2mm thick and will mount without bending too much on its own. Flared receptacle end, crimps easily

> 24 hourI picked these up because I periodically have need of lugs this size when creating grounding connectors for my Amateur Radio station. These are as good as the connectors I get at my local electrical supply and home improvement stores. Theyre well-made: sized correctly and thick, and the 8 AWG wire fit fine. I did not notice any unexpected flimsiness. Crimping / soldering are not a problem if you have the appropriate equipment.

> 24 hourI got the 6 gauge 5/16(M8) lugs. Im using these on 4 gauge WindyNation wire. I found out that you cant match wire and lugs using gauge alone. The actual decimal diameter of a manufacturers gauge of wire varies a lot depending on the stranding, and bunching of those strands. Lug manufacturers tend to go larger with their ID to accommodate more wire designs. To get the best connection, you want the wire to fit snugly in the lug prior to crimping. If its way loose, your crimp will look bad and the connection will likely be poor. I always match the OD of the bare wire to the ID of the lug, and use gauge just as a loose reference. These lugs are about average in thickness. I measured these at .060. I have others that are .075, and I prefer that thickness. However, these are wider. That extra width allows more contact surface on my bus bars, battery terminals, etc. I think the extra width, and therefore extra contact area, is more important. The terminals fit my wire perfectly and crimp nicely. It would be nice if they came with heat shrink tubing, but theyre otherwise just about perfect. I recently also got the 1 Awg terminals and had the same great experience. The copper was thick enough, and the terminal itself was wide. These are well made terminals, and they were perfect for my needs once again.

> 24 hourThese make very nice finished looking wire segments when wiring in 12 volt accessories to our golf cart. I try to remember to slip on some shrink wrap before crimping for an even more finished look. I got these specifically for the large lug opening.

> 24 hourI used these to rewire my travel trailer. They worked very well, perfect size, and held up perfectly. I compared these to lug connectors to ones I bought at Napa and these are the same (if not better) quality.

> 24 hourThese are well made terminal lugs. I also did a comparison to the local store, these are cheaper. I did get a size a little bigger than I intended. I had to look up diy methods of crimping them to my 2000 Mustang battery wires. I ended up squeezed it between a C-clamp and two bolts, then used shrink tubing to finish it off.

> 24 hourThey work as advertised but are a bit on the thin / flexible side. Minor knock, otherwise they represent a good value and work as described.
