11-06-2025I got the 6 gauge 5/16(M8) lugs. Im using these on 4 gauge WindyNation wire. I found out that you cant match wire and lugs using gauge alone. The actual decimal diameter of a manufacturers gauge of wire varies a lot depending on the stranding, and bunching of those strands. Lug manufacturers tend to go larger with their ID to accommodate more wire designs. To get the best connection, you want the wire to fit snugly in the lug prior to crimping. If its way loose, your crimp will look bad and the connection will likely be poor. I always match the OD of the bare wire to the ID of the lug, and use gauge just as a loose reference. These lugs are about average in thickness. I measured these at .060. I have others that are .075, and I prefer that thickness. However, these are wider. That extra width allows more contact surface on my bus bars, battery terminals, etc. I think the extra width, and therefore extra contact area, is more important. The terminals fit my wire perfectly and crimp nicely. It would be nice if they came with heat shrink tubing, but theyre otherwise just about perfect. I recently also got the 1 Awg terminals and had the same great experience. The copper was thick enough, and the terminal itself was wide. These are well made terminals, and they were perfect for my needs once again.

> 3 dayGreat copper wire ring terminals, I am using for a high power go kart build with 4awg wires. Perfectly sized, fit my 4awg wire perfectly and took solder without any complaints. Would recommend, as I am using 5 pcs just for one project in a brushless controller setup. Thick terminal rings, not flimsy at all.

> 3 dayI had a hard time finding these locally. I needed to swap out the work clamp on a welder and I was also trying to build a separate work lead with a magnetic ground. But all I could find locally in this size was tin plated copper in 2 packs for about $5. This is non-plated regular copper in a 10 pack for $7! Great deal and served my purpose exactly as I had hoped.

> 3 dayI ordered the 4AWG 5/16 terminals and when I first received them I thought I had the wrong gauge. They appear much larger than some other existing 4awg terminals I have. Upon further inspection, I think theyre actually better quality. Using a micrometer, I measured the same internal diameter as my others (about 7.5mm), and this one is actually a little more round. I think 2 things make it look larger. The first is it has a flared end where the wire goes in, and the second is that it fully encloses the wire. The flared end is is good to help you insert the wire, but on the other hand it could be harder to crimp flush with your wire. This terminal is also thicker than my others (2mm). Additionally, when the wire is fully inserted, it will not stick out the other side as theres no opening opposite the entry; it is fully enclosed. Overall, this seems to be a good quality terminal.

> 3 dayI am constantly working with batteries, if you have to buy cables premade, it can be very costly. If you have access to wire in the appropriate size, you can make perfectly good cables just like you buy at a store. These end terminals are perfect for What I’d do. Would recommend these to anyone.

> 3 dayThese are good and crimp on well. The material is stamdard and easy to use.

> 3 dayUsed to hook up power cable for a winch on my equipment/car trailer. Will have to wait to see how they hold up in weather. Easier to use if you have a lug crimper but could be done with larger pliers. Filling the end with solder or dielectric grease should help to keep corrosion between contacts to a minimum. Stud size is perfect for this use.

12-06-2025I ordered the 2/0 terminals for an inverter setup for my vehicle. These things are beefy, as expected. They crimp well and have lots of contact surface to make a good connection. I am very happy with the build quality, these things look like they will last.

> 3 dayGreat - Solid copper accurate sizing The foot of the terminal where you mount the lug is about 2mm thick and will mount without bending too much on its own. Flared receptacle end, crimps easily

> 3 dayI would call these terminals medium duty. If they get too thin they may not hold the crimp and the type of crimp used also makes a difference. If used in a severe environment these terminals could be soldered if needed. I’m happy with these terminals. I’m using these to install a DC to DC battery charger.
