Greater than one weekNo problem inserting the correct size awg wire and soldering the lug onto the wire. I did use flux and had no problems with adhesion. Worked just fine. With they had a size between the 1/2” and 1/4” hole. I’m sure 3/8” or 5/16” would be the most popular for the hole size. I used the larger 1/2” hole and put a stainless washer over the lug so it could be secured.

> 3 dayGood quality, heavy gauge copper wire lugs. Machining and stamping is done very well. It has a 5/16 or about 8mm ring terminal. Only other thing youll need to make quality high amperage connections is the crimping tool (see the snap-on version in my photos) and a little heat shrink tubing. 5 stars

Greater than one weekThese are good quality lugs that fit my wire and crimped perfectly. How My Star Rating System Works & What They Mean: 1 STAR - Pretty much junk and I would return and ask for a refund if I could. 2 STAR - It works, but barely meets the minimum requirements it should in order to keep it and not return it, but I would not order again. 3 STAR - It does what it was designed to do, but theres nothing really special about it. Its acceptable but not great. 4 STAR - I am very comfortable recommending it to a friend because it is is well made, durable, and delivers on its advertised features, and I would buy it again. 5 STAR - I really love it. The item exceeds my expectations of quality, durability and functionality. Not only would I purchase it again, but I would also actively encourage friends and family to to do the same. All of my reviews are my own personal opinion and are completely honest no matter if I receive an item for free or I pay for it. I am an avid Amazon shopper, as well as an Amazon Vine Voice and I personally rely on reading reviews to make all of my buying decisions, so I understand the importance of honest reviews from my peers.

> 3 dayI had a hard time finding these locally. I needed to swap out the work clamp on a welder and I was also trying to build a separate work lead with a magnetic ground. But all I could find locally in this size was tin plated copper in 2 packs for about $5. This is non-plated regular copper in a 10 pack for $7! Great deal and served my purpose exactly as I had hoped.

Greater than one weekThese copper wire lugs are formed from heavy copper, pressed, and stamped. They’re not thin and bendable like so many are. These are going to hold solid and last. I got the 8 AWG for my commercial lawn mower and other attachments on vehicles that use this size. Amazon Vine sent this product to me for an honest unbiased review. Would I recommend it? Yes, these are quality, solid copper lugs.

> 3 dayI picked these up because I periodically have need of lugs this size when creating grounding connectors for my Amateur Radio station. These are as good as the connectors I get at my local electrical supply and home improvement stores. Theyre well-made: sized correctly and thick, and the 8 AWG wire fit fine. I did not notice any unexpected flimsiness. Crimping / soldering are not a problem if you have the appropriate equipment.

> 3 dayI got the 8 AWG - 1/4 lugs. They have a nice thickness. I cut into one with a Dremel and it seems to be solid copper. An 8 AWG wire fits fine and a 1/4 bolt fits the ring with only a bit to spare. Exactly what I needed!

> 3 dayI got the 6 gauge 5/16(M8) lugs. Im using these on 4 gauge WindyNation wire. I found out that you cant match wire and lugs using gauge alone. The actual decimal diameter of a manufacturers gauge of wire varies a lot depending on the stranding, and bunching of those strands. Lug manufacturers tend to go larger with their ID to accommodate more wire designs. To get the best connection, you want the wire to fit snugly in the lug prior to crimping. If its way loose, your crimp will look bad and the connection will likely be poor. I always match the OD of the bare wire to the ID of the lug, and use gauge just as a loose reference. These lugs are about average in thickness. I measured these at .060. I have others that are .075, and I prefer that thickness. However, these are wider. That extra width allows more contact surface on my bus bars, battery terminals, etc. I think the extra width, and therefore extra contact area, is more important. The terminals fit my wire perfectly and crimp nicely. It would be nice if they came with heat shrink tubing, but theyre otherwise just about perfect. I recently also got the 1 Awg terminals and had the same great experience. The copper was thick enough, and the terminal itself was wide. These are well made terminals, and they were perfect for my needs once again.

> 3 dayWorked perfectly along with a hydraulic crimper for making new battery cables. Thick copper, flared opening to make getting the wire in easier, good quality.

> 3 dayUsed to hook up power cable for a winch on my equipment/car trailer. Will have to wait to see how they hold up in weather. Easier to use if you have a lug crimper but could be done with larger pliers. Filling the end with solder or dielectric grease should help to keep corrosion between contacts to a minimum. Stud size is perfect for this use.
