as I said, they sent 2 M5 x 0.8 collets and no M8 x 1.25. Also there is no M10x1.25 tap, just a M10x1.0 and M10x1.5 (as written on the box, so not a mistake, just the way it was) otherwise the tools seem to work ok.

Do not buy this if you are trying to tap any hard metal. This will only tap very soft metal

So I ordered this to chase some threads on a bolt and hole that I feared I may have cross threaded. With some work it worked okay. Finding the right pieces was a bit of a struggle as the markings are super light and super small. The box is where the ultimate failure is on this set. You literally cannot do anything but carry this box in a flat position. The moment you flip it up to carry it, pieces fall out of their slots. Youll spend more time putting the pieces back in their respective slots than you will working on your project. They should really do something about retention or add padding to hold pieces in place. My suggesting is never try to move it vertically. Good luck.

Okay, you get what you pay for, and I get that. But seriously, when I opened the box a pile of taps, dies and pieces parts ended up on the floor. So be forewarned: there are no molded tabs to hold anything in place, so all the parts just sit there loose in the box waiting for you to accidentally spill them. I probably spent 45 minutes sorting through things, trying to identify them and putting them back in there assigned spaces. Nor do the taps fit very securely in the tap wrench, but what did I expect? I will say that the set works adequately for occasional use, and it did enable me to accomplish a threading job on my own with resorting to borrowing or asking for help. If thats all you will need it for then it will probably do. Just remember to exercise caution when opening the box and hope that it was packed securely to begin with.

Havent had a chance to use so my review reflects my first impression, large enough set to include the most popular sizes, dies are beveled for easier starting, looking at other reviews, theres enough info I dont need to add anything else.

I got the more expensive one with the coating on the tools and it works wonders! Based on all the reviews I’ve seen the base kit sucks, you want to spend the extra money on the coating if you go with this kit. I love it!
