> 3 dayWell, so far it’s 50%. Used it twice, worked once and broke the tap on second use. Can’t say it is real durable due to only tapping two holes, well one actually. It comes with everything a normal tap and die set comes with, has good size selection for the money, I just hope they all don’t break that quick.

> 3 dayThe tap and die set is nice but it doesnt look like it would be considered a professional set. The package has two separate plastic trays for the taps and the dies. Always make sure to replace the clear plastic tray covers over the tools before you tip the tool case on edge otherwise all of the individual pieces will fall out and get mixed up.

Greater than one weekThis is a surprisingly decent set given the low price. The die holder is quite good as there are indents in each of the dies and with the three screw setup on the holder, you get a firm grip on the die.

> 3 dayI bought this to repair the threads on an office chair with threaded casters in cast legs. Worked great. The following week I retapped an arm on a miter saw stand. I’m just a carpenter who is generally handy— a tap and die set like this is something I should have bought years ago.

> 3 dayMy second set, one for the home, one for RV travel. Have had the first for many years. The best set for its size. I am a toolmaker and have decades of experience in these areas.

> 3 dayProbably a bit overkill for what is supposed to be a one-time use, but it never hurts having such a set in your toolbox. The gauge to measure a bolts pitch is really helpful in finding that I needed an M10 x 1.25 versus 1.50 that I originally thought I needed. Hopefully this set lasts me awhile!
