It’ll get you going. Looks like decent quality, I don’t use it daily , but after 2 or 3 uses I’m happy with it.

Initial quality looks great. Tapped a 7/16 x 14 hole with no problems. Only time will tell the longevity but for home use its a great product, price and quality. Packing is excellent.

Ive had a collection of different dies and taps kicking around my shop, but seems I never could find the right size or thread when I needed it. Decided to invest a little money in what seems to be a pretty complete kit. Well have to see how they work and last. The one thing I did almost immediately is I glued the form insert that comes with it onto the top cover. This prevents all the components from falling out of their respective slots which I found out the hard way happens if you dont put the form back when you fold it up.

The kit contains everything I needed. I had some loose-fitting bolts that were nearly stripped. I spread some J-B Weld into the bolt holes, let it cure for 24 hours, and re-tapped the holes for a perfect fit. One thing I really liked was the device pictured. I found this smaller handle more convenient to use than the larger handle and it holds the tap very securely. You will need to remove the knurled knob to insert the tap and then screw the knob back on. It worked great. Very nice kit!

t wrench was slipping and had not enough grip. this is a china typical quality. good packaging but one time use.
