> 24 hourExcellent for removing heavy rust after scaling. These are amazing to keep on hand for clean up prior to welding. Really long lasting wheels.

> 24 hourThese are a great way to remove rust when preparing the surface for welding or painting. I turn to these before ever using a wire wheel or sanding disc. Good functional tool. One issue is the grit designation or lack of it. There is no information on the discs, and two colors: blue and purple. For abrasive products this usually means different grits. Only indication is in the Amazon description which notes 60 grit. Is this for one color or both? Other than that these are very useful.

> 24 hourImpressive. The grinding material seems to be glued or fused to the arbor plate. I need this type of glue for everything! With that said - the grinding material sticks well to the plate it is attached to which of course is important. And what is this grinding material? Description states high-strength wear-resistant fiber mesh and combines resin elastomer and high-quality black diamond. It certainly does the job and does it well. All you need is a light touch to start. Work smarter - not harder. The grinding material seems to be flexible yet sturdy. Takes some finesse to get it done right. I easily removed the rust from entire metal leg I show in the picture and the grinding disc showed minimal loss of material. These should last for quite a while. I used the blue for removing the rust because I believe the purple discs are for heavier jobs. This was magically answered in the question section - not the description. I had to tighten the grinding disc to my angle grinder by hand. My tightening tool does not reach into the depths of the disc because of the thickness of the grinding material. I wore gloves and turned the wheel with the grinders lock on until it wouldnt turn anymore. I am confident it is secure but will keep an eye on it. Reverse this procedure to remove the disc. It is a perfect fit for my tool. No material other than rust went flying. I thought the material might grind off but it was not noticeable at least. Eventually I am sure they wear down. It looks like they might even clog up but that will depend on the material you are grinding/polishing. Of course, always use eye protection and unplug your tool when changing wheels. I consider myself very aware of possible hazards but lost the tip of one finger years ago to a silly mistake. Luckily, I have nine more fingers that still work fairly well. Always be safe. The product appears sturdy and well built. Very well built. These will make some hard jobs easy. A must have for the toolbox. They are a great value for an eight-pack. Neat product.

> 24 hourThese attached to my angle grinder very easily. I don’t work with a lot of metal but I do need to strip paint off wood. They work well at doing that. Even though they feel very rough the pads have some give to them so they don’t tear you wood apart. They do remove paint very quickly. I imagine they will work just as well removing rust off metal. I think these are a great price and work well and will be a good purchase for anyone needing to remove rust or paint.

> 24 hourNot much to say, they seem to work great so far and the price is solid.

> 24 hourWorking in the rust belt I use a lot of wire wheels and cups, grinding and flap discs. I never tried these because they were expensive and I did not believe they would do the job. But I must admit these exceeded my expectations not only were they less expensive than in the big box stores but they worked very well with much less metal loss my other methods. They won’t grind down a weld smooth, but they will certainly clean it up. I use a variable speed side grinder to limit grab on my wire wheels, but find this is much easier to control. They really don’t grab to badly which is important, when working around fuel lines and wiring harnesses.

> 24 hourThese work well enough for surface prep for removing rust and old paint prior to welding and priming, however, there is zero indication as to what grit these are.

> 24 hourI tested these briefly on rusty plate steel and a cars 30 year old undercoating . They worked well on both . Therefore I will recommend them with two thumbs up .

> 24 hourI am pleasantly surprised that these abrasive stripping wheels as they lasted as long as they did. I am grinding and stripping of old welds on a project and needed some stripping wheels. I see these available and at a great price and thought it would take four or five of them to complete my job. Here I am, only used one of the wheels and my job is complete. I have a H. Freight 4 special grinder using the 5/8 arbor. This is some tough mesh and resin they used for these wheels. I used the wheels on 2024 Aluminum with about a 47 hardness and they worked great and didnt damage the material. I also used the wheels on 310 Annealed stainless steel with no problem. It was able to cut out with ease. 5 stars to WMAZtool for their TOUGH Stripping Wheels! Thanks :)
