> 3 dayI am building a trailer from an old frame someone gave me, the frame was very rusty and I needed to strip that off prior to painting it. These discs are excellent for rust removal. I was able to grind down the entire trailer in a 2 day time frame and only used one disc. I have another project coming up that I need to strip paint from a piece of wood furniture, Ill keep you updated on how it works.

> 3 dayI use these stripping discs on my angle grinder to remove paint from an old truck I am refinishing. These discs are doing a great job and holding up well. I wish I knew what grit they were since it isnt listed but these discs work so well that I still gave them a 5-star rating.

> 3 dayThese discs chucked into an angle grinder are quite powerful at removing surface coatings. Being high speed, high RPMs, its not a subtle process but fast and thus very effective. Do beware of lead paint though. I think stripping lead paint is not advised by any mechanical means. The abrasive material has some give to it, which means that it is fairly gentle on the substrate material. It did not try it on wood, but on metal, concrete or glass, its fair to say that you can remove the coating without fear of damaging the substrate. These currently sell for under $3 per disc after coupon. While that does not seem super cheap to me, it represents a reasonable value.

> 3 dayI am pleasantly surprised that these abrasive stripping wheels as they lasted as long as they did. I am grinding and stripping of old welds on a project and needed some stripping wheels. I see these available and at a great price and thought it would take four or five of them to complete my job. Here I am, only used one of the wheels and my job is complete. I have a H. Freight 4 special grinder using the 5/8 arbor. This is some tough mesh and resin they used for these wheels. I used the wheels on 2024 Aluminum with about a 47 hardness and they worked great and didnt damage the material. I also used the wheels on 310 Annealed stainless steel with no problem. It was able to cut out with ease. 5 stars to WMAZtool for their TOUGH Stripping Wheels! Thanks :)

> 3 dayI have previously used this type wheels on a die grinder to remove paint and rust and they have worked great. Finally got some for my angle grinder for larger projects and am glad I did. I have these as well as some 4 wheels These literally wipe the paint away from the metal but without damaging the metal as much as sanding discs or other harsher methods. And they leave a nice finish ready for paint, I have only used them on steel so far as I assume they are still strong enough to tear up aluminum. Price seemed very reasonable as well, I havent tested how long they last but I will update the review if they fall apart or wear out unreasonable quick.

> 3 dayThese do work for stripping/grinding paint pretty rapidly, but they are not an exact fit for a typical angle grinder. They do not fit on the shoulder of flange like most other discs do. Instead it merely slips over the shaft with a loose fit, hard to center, which makes them spin slightly off-center, which is sort of dangerous. Surprisingly it didnt equate to much extra vibration on the tool during use. In my photos you can see the product, and in my last photo, Ive compared it to how discs are supposed to fit. I did brave using these despite not being able to get it perfectly centered, and they did perform the job of removing paint from wood very fast. Although they did remove paint quickly, I had to ding the rating a little because of safety aspect of not being able to center these perfectly. My summarized assessment of this product is that these will do the job, but there are certainly safer products available.

> 3 dayThese are a great way to remove rust when preparing the surface for welding or painting. I turn to these before ever using a wire wheel or sanding disc. Good functional tool. One issue is the grit designation or lack of it. There is no information on the discs, and two colors: blue and purple. For abrasive products this usually means different grits. Only indication is in the Amazon description which notes 60 grit. Is this for one color or both? Other than that these are very useful.

> 3 dayI do a lot of metal cnc plasma work and needed something to remove dross from the stuff I make. These knock it off so quick and last a long time. You are not going to grind like a hard disk or flapper wheels. But these are awesome for cleaning parts and buffing.

> 3 daySo far I think this disk works well. They do not last as much as other overprice disks. But they do the job.

> 3 dayExcellent for removing heavy rust after scaling. These are amazing to keep on hand for clean up prior to welding. Really long lasting wheels.
