> 3 dayNot much to say, they seem to work great so far and the price is solid.

> 3 dayThe Strip Disc Stripping Wheel was using to strip rust of an outdoor metal shelving and hand rails. It did a good job of strip off the major of the rust on a metal shelve, on the hand rails about 65%. There are few places it can not get to and require a difference stripper and/or manually.

> 3 dayThese are great quality. They fit on the grinder like they should and are well balanced. They are very aggressive and remove paint quickly. They also last much longer than the black ones from the big box stores.

> 3 dayExcellent for removing heavy rust after scaling. These are amazing to keep on hand for clean up prior to welding. Really long lasting wheels.

Greater than one weekIve never used this style of disc before, only flap wheels. I gave it 3 stars because I had a problem with it fitting on my corded Milwaukee. The thickness of the wheel was too deep for any spanner wrench I had, except for this universal spanner that thankfully would barely tighten the plate. So right away, the disc removed metal no problem. For reference, I used it to remove rust from angle iron before welding, and it did quick work of that. After that, I used it on a brand new outdoor griddle surface to remove the shipping oil, and to make the surface smooth. At first, it did a good job. After a while though, it seemed to get loaded up. When I stopped and looked at the wheel, it did have some melted surface area on it, about 10-20%. Im new to these strip discs, so maybe thats normal, maybe its not. It also embedded plastic into a few areas of my griddle top that then became nearly impossible to remove with sand discs, brake cleaner, denatured alcohol, etc. I pretty much had to burn it off during the seasoning of my griddle. Pros: They last a long time. Good value for the money. Less dust (I think) during rust removal. Cons: Disc was too thick for my spanner to fit on my Milwaukee, AND 2 other no-name grinders. they loaded up about 1/3 of their life.

> 3 dayWorking in the rust belt I use a lot of wire wheels and cups, grinding and flap discs. I never tried these because they were expensive and I did not believe they would do the job. But I must admit these exceeded my expectations not only were they less expensive than in the big box stores but they worked very well with much less metal loss my other methods. They won’t grind down a weld smooth, but they will certainly clean it up. I use a variable speed side grinder to limit grab on my wire wheels, but find this is much easier to control. They really don’t grab to badly which is important, when working around fuel lines and wiring harnesses.
