Xbox Elite controllers dont work fully over bluetooth unless with the Xbox Wireless Adapter apparently. As a result, this product supports the controller as well as it can-- but it cannot support the backpaddles. Youd need the Xbox Wireless Adapter, or to connect the controller via a cable. Otherwise the product works fine, I noticed no input delay and pairing was easy. I am returning this though since the whole reason I bought an Elite controller was for the backpaddles, and Ill just stick to the wired connection for now. To be absolutely clear-- the issue is with the Xbox accessories app that wont recognize the controller unless over a cable or their own wireless adapter. I do think that this should be a disclaimer next to the message about supporting the Elite controllers though.

Does work in my Tesla, but was NOT straight forward.

I bought this for my switch to use PS4/XBOX controller. And it works perfectly. Have not tried it yet but it supposedly works on PC which is a super plus. I recommend. Even works with 3rd party PS4 controllers.

This was purchased for use in my Playstation classic and indeed right out of the box it was easy to sync and set up. 8 bit do continues to knock it out of the park with their quality and attention to detail.

Havent always been a fan of 8bitdo but despite that, I will be as rational as possible. This 8bitdo adapter pairs pretty easily to some controllers and thats pretty great on their part. However. For my own use case, I wanted to pair specifically a Wii U pro controller to my Nintendo Switch. Ive tried everything and scoured every video, but nothing. Im convinced the version 2 is different than the first iteration, but either way the console receives zero input. I will be refunding this and would I recommend it? Personally no. This was my last hope and Ive decided to pick up another controller since this does not work for me.

A much better alternative to buying a Nintendo Pro controller if you already have an Xbox controller laying around. You won’t get the motion controls from a Nintendo proprietary controller, but I prefer the joysticks and feel of the Xbox One or X/S alternatives. I tested both out and they work like a charm - great range and fast response!

I bought this to use my Xbox controller on my Xbox. I plugged it in to my Nintendo Switch and held the button for a few seconds. It started flashing and I held the button on my xbox controller for a few seconds to make it flash too. After literally ten minutes it finally connected. Even then there was noticeable input delay and if I ever turned off the Switch or unplugged the a Adapter, I had to wait another ten minutes for it to pair again. I would only recommend if you dont care about these things and have no usable Nintendo controller.

My girlfriend stole my Pro Controller and was tired of using my joycons to play Tears of the Kingdom. Heard good things about 8bitdo products and had a PS5 Dualsense I use for my Steam Deck so I figured the controller should pull double duty. Adapter works great for an updated Dualsense (I hear Sony screwed up the firmware to actively inhibit your ability to use the controller with adapters such as this, so beware purchasing this if you updated your controllers firmware on the PS5) and havent had any issues even despite using a USB extension as a passthrough to hide the chunky adapter inside the switch dock. I have to knock off a point because the Switch recognizes it as a wired controller while using the 8bitdo adapter so you wont get any notifications when the controller battery is running low as well as the dongle being too big to fit in the internal USB port without using an aforementioned USB extender. Past that, the thing works great with very few notable issues.

This thing is awesome. Super easy to use, cool design, and a special bonus feature make it perfect for my use. First, it looks cool with its retro Mario styling. The little coin button for pairing is cool and easy to hit. The best feature of all imo, is that your controller pairs to the device rather than what youve plugged it into. Because of this, I can use my modded ps4 controller on my switch and when its time to do something on pc, just move the dongle over and its ready to go. If theres anything negative to say about this, its that the dongle itself is wider than you think. For example, you couldnt put two of these side-by-side on the switch dock. Not a deal breaker for most, and certainly not enough to lose a star over. Have a controller you like? Use it pretty much anywhere with this little beauty.

I love the product and when working properly it’s a great alternative to buying an actual pro controller. Setup was easy and was about as plug and play as you can get with a device like this. The only downside is the constant disconnects. I’m currently playing tears of the kingdom using my Xbox series X controller. During a 6-8 hour play session the controller will disconnect at least 4 times. Usually about the time it takes for the controller to reconnect to the Xbox. About 5 seconds. Other than that, if you don’t play as long as I do and you can deal with the short disconnects, I would say this is a good buy.
