I ordered this due to a metatarsal foot injury. A podiatrist had created a padded wrap with a small section cut out to take pressure off of the sore area. While this helped, trying to put a shoe on with a padded wrap is horrible..it constantly slides around. This felt roll was the answer to my problem. I traced my shoe insert and cut out the small section as the doctor did. Because there is no issue with this sliding in my shoe, I am not using the adhesive. I did try to peel the backing off to test it out because people commented on the difficulty. Once you can separate it correctly, it peels easily. But it is difficult to find the correct way to peel it...its easier to accidentally peel the whole piece off incorrectly. Take your time and keep your patience and youll get it. And for those who say there is no adhesive, either they got a defective roll or it was peeled incorrectly. The adhesive is quite sticky, by the way.

I really like that this felt can be cut to any size and shape required. It works really well on my metatarsalgia bones. My only complaint is the backing is really hard to remove. I finally figured out that a needle-nose pliers works really well to get a good grip on the backing to peel it back.

I bought this previously and used it down to the last piece. Used it to pad shoes and delicate skin on feet to prevent blisters and rubbing.

My podiatrist recommended I get this for an arch support. It is easy to cut to fit to fit my arch. I also bevel the edges to make it more comfortable. Once I figured out the size I needed, I made a pattern to use for the next time and keep it with the product. It has been working great!

Excellent! Works like a charm! Stops any hot spots in boots or shoes.

Just what I needed. My podiatrist showed me how to use this material to modify my shoe inserts to take pressure off of a sensitive nerve. This works great and is very similar to the felt the doctor had. The roll is not as huge as I was afraid it would be. Its only about 6 tall by about 6 wide. It will last me for years.

Was introduced to this by a helpful foot surgeon friend, who said, Before I do something messy to your feet, let me show you how easy this is. He cut the right shape to raise hammer toes up, and showed me to either attach it to balls of my feet, or put this in my shoes. Each new shoes I get, gets either the 1/8th or the 1/4th. ...heaven.. My poor sister in law had her toe joints removed. You can imagine the pain, suffering and what this looks like. Thank You!!! Works great in shoes, sneakers, slides, and sandals. Cant see em unless you want to place them that way. Only thing you need for relief is the felt and a good pair of scissors.

This product used to be great, I reorder it all the time. The last 2 times they have sent a far cheaper pad not as dense or thick. As you can see in the picture its different. DO NOT BUY

The roll of 1/4 adhesive felt padding is exactly what I was looking for. The only drawback was the 2.5yd roll (I only needed 12 - 24).
