A Physical Therapist put one in my shoe as one leg shorter then the other since hip surgery. It made the difference immediately between very little but painful walking and walking normally again without pain. I could get special ones orthopoedically made, however, this material works just as well, cuts to size, is soft and comfortable and is inexpensive. I will buy more when this role runs out but it will last for some years. You can switch the lift from one shoe to another or make inserts for all your shoes. I am well pleased with the product.

I liked the thickness and protection. It stayed in place and was not hard to remove.

This worked very well for protecting my father-in-laws feet... He had several open wounds from peripheral vascular disease. The surgeon and wound clinic recommended using felt, but the home health people didnt have thick enough felt so I purchased this product. He is down to one tiny wound now, so the felt did the job of protecting the wounds to promote healing. Thank you!

Very, very sticky. I use these for metatarsalgia, easy to cut and place. Not easy to relocate! I place them on my shoe inserts and its pretty difficult to get them off when its time to change them. However, dont let that stop you from buying them. They do hold up well, I only changed them about once a week, and sticking in the same place is actually a good thing they dont wiggle around or cause any blisters or anything like that. I will most likely buy them again.

You can not peal the backing therefore don’t count on it having adhesive

I bought this thick padding to place on either side of a pressure point on my foot. I mainly wear the padding at night, so I want to be able to remove it easily and stick it to slick backing from little adhesive circles until I am ready to reapply it. This product is great on thickness and padding. The adhesive is very sticky. When I applied the adhesive directly to my skin, it stayed put. Unfortunately, when I peeled the padding off of my foot, the adhesive stayed behind. It was almost impossible to remove- I finally used nail polish remover. And there was no adhesive left on the padding, so reuse was not possible. You might think that I am unhappy with this product, but I found an easy way to make it work for me. The regular thin sheets of moleskin did not provide enough thickness for my purpose, but they adhere well and peel off very easily. So, my solution was to buy thin Walgreen’s brand moleskin and cut strips from that. Then I cut small squares of the thick padding and stick it to the end of the Walgreens moleskin. When I have it assembled, I remove the backing from the Walgreen’s moleskin and apply it my foot. I am able to use these strips for almost a week (removing them every day). No damage to my skin. This large roll of thick padding will last a very long time the way that I am using it. I have used the same method to apply the thick padding to the inside of a sandal strap that was rubbing my toe, because I want to be able to remove it without the adhesive residue staying on the sandal.

This has worked well to build up the arches in my shoes and I also stick it to the bottom of my feet on days Im not wearing my modified shoes. My arches had went from super high to completely flat within just a couple of months. I spend a lot of time out of my good shoes in the house or out gardening which left my feet unsupported much of the time. Being able to apply the pads directly to my feet has allowed me to wear my crappy garden shoes without giving up the support my feet need. I combine this 1/4 product with 1/8 foam to make a pad that varies in depth where I need more or less than 1/4 of support. Adhesive is strong and stays put in shoes for an extended period (havent had to replace any yet). It lasts all day attached to my foot unless my feet get soaked too many times in the garden. Adhesive does leave residue on skin that easily washes off with a little baby oil or alcohol (or whatever I have handy). The minute it takes to clean off is well worth the reduction in pain I get all day. The pads still seem sticky enough for another days use, but Ive never had them stay in place well to get another day of use out of them.

I really like that this felt can be cut to any size and shape required. It works really well on my metatarsalgia bones. My only complaint is the backing is really hard to remove. I finally figured out that a needle-nose pliers works really well to get a good grip on the backing to peel it back.
