I ordered this to try out making some at-home orthotics as per my Podiatrists recommendation. This product works as expected, and this roll will likely last me a lifetime! My only complaint is that its kind hard to get the backing off the felt, but whatever. If you encounter the same issue you just need to pull much harder than you expect to.

My Mom uses round pads for her foot, getting them from the doctors was getting expensive. I now cut them my self from this roll. Yes, it a little extra work cutting them myself but this roll of material will last for years. It is also thicker than what you can get in the stores for from the Doctor.

I used this on my feet and the felt actually held up better than the foam. However, I have neuropathy in my hands also and it is very difficult to get the backing off in order to use it. I have several pads that I was never able to get the backing off. Since I have to watch my pennies I won’t be buying this product again. Thank you

My dog was suffering from skin thinning condition. I used this as padding inside a shirt. Worked surprisingly well.

Works like a charm

I wasnt able to use a lot of the product because it wouldnt peel.

I bought this thick padding to place on either side of a pressure point on my foot. I mainly wear the padding at night, so I want to be able to remove it easily and stick it to slick backing from little adhesive circles until I am ready to reapply it. This product is great on thickness and padding. The adhesive is very sticky. When I applied the adhesive directly to my skin, it stayed put. Unfortunately, when I peeled the padding off of my foot, the adhesive stayed behind. It was almost impossible to remove- I finally used nail polish remover. And there was no adhesive left on the padding, so reuse was not possible. You might think that I am unhappy with this product, but I found an easy way to make it work for me. The regular thin sheets of moleskin did not provide enough thickness for my purpose, but they adhere well and peel off very easily. So, my solution was to buy thin Walgreen’s brand moleskin and cut strips from that. Then I cut small squares of the thick padding and stick it to the end of the Walgreens moleskin. When I have it assembled, I remove the backing from the Walgreen’s moleskin and apply it my foot. I am able to use these strips for almost a week (removing them every day). No damage to my skin. This large roll of thick padding will last a very long time the way that I am using it. I have used the same method to apply the thick padding to the inside of a sandal strap that was rubbing my toe, because I want to be able to remove it without the adhesive residue staying on the sandal.
