I think its better than the Kryptonite Brand, its very sturdy and stiff, with easy unlocking/locking using the key. No problems after over a month of use.

I can’t imagine anyone breaking this lock off. It would definitely be a challenge for the thief, and since most bike thieves are opportunists, I’m fairly confident a bike locked with this lock would not be their go-to to steal.

Love this lock, dont love the price. However, its the same price on Amazon than pretty much everywhere else..

I have been very happy with it so far. I have a hard time understanding why a person would want the 12 version unless locking multiple bikes though.

I had received the U Lock in a poor condition (i.e., it was scratched on the front, refer to picture) a couple days ago. I thought that it would be fine enough to use anyway because I thought the damage was surface-level, and I needed immediate use. However, I have only used it once, and it is currently still locked to an outdoor bike rack because the lock is sticky after one rain storm. The lock will not turn when the key is inserted. I have tried both WD-40 and Tri-Flow multiple times, yet the lock still does not catch. Im at a loss of what my next move should be and am highly disappointed because of the U Lock price and supposed quality...that is, this lock should NOT have stuck after one short rain storm.

The best U-lock on the market, in my opinion. Its expensive, but when protecting an expensive bike, what price security?? The best thing about it is the German construction, and the DOUBLE end locks, requiring only one key and one key hole. Anyone who calls this lock heavy, obviously has never tested the other high security U-locks out there, thats for sure.

Im using this with an Abus Cobra Loop Cable. I do live in a large city while a fairly high rate of bicycle theft, and so far my bike has not been stolen, so I guess its working. Though Im sure if someone really wanted my bike, they could get through it. Just note that this lock is pretty heavy and large. I wasnt able to find a good spot on my bike to mount it to. Also note that this does NOT come with a mount. I had to order one separately from overseas at the time, but then of course I ended up not using it. There is a bundle that comes with a mount, so if thats what you need, look for the bundle instead.

This little dude is tough! Hard steel, both sides lock, cant drill the locking mechanism, and fits around the rear tire/frame with full suspension bikes. Still need a chain for the front wheel and the post your locking it to but this lock is on to stay.

Excellent lock very sturdy and easy to use. I love the light so you can see the key hole. I would recommend this product.
