> 3 dayThis lock feels indestructible, but the key is now permanently stuck in the lock with my bike locked to a rack. ABUS will not replace the lock unless I return it to dealer where I bought it for inspection. That dealer was Amazon, and the return window is long gone. I can ship the lock to ABUS to have them inspect it and determine if a replacement is warranted, but its stuck on my bike/bike rack and even if I could get it off I would be without a lock for a few weeks. I recommend going with Kryptonite bike locks instead, as I have one of those that I purchased in 2005 that still works great 15 years later.

> 3 daySeems like a solid enough lock. The real test is to see if somebody opens it and steels my bike.

> 3 dayI definitely take comfort in knowing I have the hardest lock to break on the rack. Highly recommenced if you can get it for the right price.

> 3 dayStrong and easy to use. I can now secure my bike with confidence that it will be there when I return.

> 3 dayI did a lot of research on bike locks before choosing this one. This is one of the highest rated locks (of the other two, one weighs a ton and the other is almost $300). It was number one against lock picking and its extremely resistant to a grinder with a titanium blade in spite of its 16mm shackle. Never mind bolt cutters. Its designed to resist extreme torque as well. Its easy to mount and rests sturdy. No rattling. Besides its amazing strengths, its relatively light in weight. This is my main lock. Although, I obviously dont rely on only one lock. The other is its rival in the same category. The other weighs a ton, tough.

> 3 dayI had received the U Lock in a poor condition (i.e., it was scratched on the front, refer to picture) a couple days ago. I thought that it would be fine enough to use anyway because I thought the damage was surface-level, and I needed immediate use. However, I have only used it once, and it is currently still locked to an outdoor bike rack because the lock is sticky after one rain storm. The lock will not turn when the key is inserted. I have tried both WD-40 and Tri-Flow multiple times, yet the lock still does not catch. Im at a loss of what my next move should be and am highly disappointed because of the U Lock price and supposed quality...that is, this lock should NOT have stuck after one short rain storm.

Greater than one weekThe best U-lock on the market, in my opinion. Its expensive, but when protecting an expensive bike, what price security?? The best thing about it is the German construction, and the DOUBLE end locks, requiring only one key and one key hole. Anyone who calls this lock heavy, obviously has never tested the other high security U-locks out there, thats for sure.

> 3 dayTheres no foolproof or thief proof lock. Theres no foolproof or thief proof lock. Theres no foolproof or thief proof lock. This one is pretty close to both (just dont lose your key, fool).
