AC Infinity AIRPLATE T7, Quiet Cooling Fan System 12 with Thermostat Control, for Home Theater AV Cabinets

Was hoping for more air movement but may need another to push air out, but it is what it is. Quality packaging, quick arrival. Pretty cool concept, the light up digital thermostat display is an eye catcher and a conversation piece. The fans are enclosed in a HT cabinet approximately 14 cubic feet, for a set of fans that are supposed to move 104 cfm the temp. rises awful fast. Not real quiet, not real loud either. I can only notice fans running if there is no volume, quality built product. Easy to install, not sure about longevity since Ive only used them for a few weeks. Would recommend and buy again.

I rarely take the time to review products, but this is worth it. Very well made, excellent temperature control, great looking, well-priced. Honestly I just keep staring at it and admiring it. Sounds crazy, but true. I have it installed in a cabinet that houses a beverage cooler that is not even supposed to be mounted under counter. However, this fan system does such a good job that my cooler is consistently at 38 degrees. And these SILENT fans dont even run all the time. Couldnt be happier with this product.

I purchased two of these units plus an auxiliary fan attached to one of the controllers for a 14 foot long desk I built in my home office. The desk has three seating stations with an under-desk PC in each, and six 27 LCD monitors spread across the desk, which fits perfectly across the 14 feet! Also under the desk to one side is a floor register for my home HVAC system. One of my biggest concerns was the furnace generating a lot of heat that would get partially trapped under the desk. Between the furnace heat and the heat generated by the PCs, I decided to install the AC Infinity fan units on the top surface of the desktop, one behind each pair of LCDs. The controllers and temp sensor are mounted underneath the desk.

I just purchased a large cabinet for my TV gear and PS4. After a few hours of hard play a message came on the screen indicating a temperature problem with the PS4. Well the last thing I wanted to do was open the cabinet doors every time we wanted to play the PS4. I immediately opened up my Amazon app and found the solution, an AC Infinity Airplate T7.

Great company and they stand by their products however for my installation the fans were too loud. Even with the replacement fan controller (provided by AC Infinity after the first one was defective) they were still audible. Im probably nit-picking here but I ended up just using the face plate and swapping out the both the fans and the controller. Its disappointing for a device this expensive to to be so loud. The problem is the 5v fans which are non-standard and have a USB connection. If the fan controller / power supply was 12v and had molex-connectors instead of USB Id be much happier. In this way a user could swap for whatever standard PC fans he/she so chooses.

So awesome. I have had a bunch of servers and switch in my closet for a while and keeping it cool has always been a pain. I used to have it in my bedroom and had to have the closet door cracked open, but this has definitely changed things! It looks slick, its quiet, gives me temp info, its easy to control, and most importantly it keeps my servers nice and cool :)

This is not quiet Ive had fans this 120mm size before and they were more quiet than this, these are just cheap crap fans put in this total rip off.

I am amazed with this product. At first, I was a little put off by the price but if you have the money, there is nothing better. I get it in and open the box to find that it is packaged extremely professionally with the fans and the controller showing. I then unbox and install within minutes. 9 to be exact. I just used the stencils and cut rough lines. They dont have to be perfect as the brushed bezel covers up any imperfections. The fans are almost silent at all speeds. The smart setting is excellent. My Entertainment center went from 105F to 83F within 5-10 minutes and the two fans have no trouble holding at 80-85F with an Xbox one and a 7.2 HK3700 AVR. After it gets below its trigger temp, it shuts off completely but I had to turn off my home AC and turn everything off to even hear it do that. Just a great product. I expected it to work well but this simply blows me away. Highly recommend and totally worth the money. I have made my own fan setup similar to this with 2 120mm fans and they didnt run as quietly as these, didnt move nearly as much air, didnt have a thermostat, didnt look as nice, and caused wires to be everywhere. These just work so well. If you are on the fence about whether or not you want the thermostat model I hope this review has made your mind. Just a really thought out well built tool that does its job extremely well. If I could give 6 stars I would.
