Gorgeous picture and great product. Exactly as described. Can’t be mounted on an arm though without a special adapter that is pretty much impossible to find. Even for models one number off, the adapters won’t work. Might be able to Jerry-rig something from the current stand but haven’t gotten that far yet. Not sure it’s worth it. Better to just search for a VESA compatible monitor and cut my losses.

The monitor is nice but the stand is big and not adjustable. It takes up quite a bit of desk space in front of the monitor.

I bought 4 of them for two dual monitor setups. All is well. Can’t figure out why they came with old school vga cables.

These monitors are great with a great picture

Despite the backlight bleeding, I have really enjoyed using this monitor. I use it for personal digital content creation, gaming at 1080p 60hz,and general PC browsing. The low-blue setting is easy on the eyes for extended work sessions. For the price, youd be hard pressed to find a comparable product. It is not a professional monitor, but a great PC monitor Id recommend to more casual gamers or freelancers on a budget. Thin bezel, good looks, sharp screen, great IPS viewing angles, decent color reproduction, and all the inputs I need (1x each VGA, DVI, and HDMI). Plus it has an HDMI 3.5mm audio out for headphones or speakers which is a nice feature , though i use my onboard digital output. Response times are a gray area (pun intended) and advertised response times often have little credibility. the gray-to-gray Ive experienced using blender and watching movies is great. very little ghosting. Again, its not top of the line so if you look really hard youre going to find it. No smart features so there is no noticeable input lag. The user menu leaves something to be desired, but it is functional. Just dont buy it expecting perfection for the price-tag. notice its 27 cousin listed on the same page is much more expensive. If i had to guess, the backlight bleed exceeded their tolerances for the high-end model it was supposed to be. Shows how much pride Acer takes in their monitors. No dead pixels. BTW, I have noticed a reduction in backlight bleeding and auto-detect times when using HDMI as opposed to the included VGA. HDMI registers first in the auto-detect, then dvi, then VGA FYI. You notice the colors first. Everything is more brilliant. Sharper image, exact colors, etc. I thought it might be too big for a home office but no, its just right. Some websites are better viewed on the bigger screen, a nice, visual effect that enhances the whole surfing experience. Very satisfied w/ my purchase and it also makes my computer appear to be faster b/c it loads the images faster; something I didnt expect but really appreciate, a byproduct of the different cable I suppose. Much better monitor all round and money well spent. I am not a gamer so cannot give any rating for that. 23 May 21 - b/c it is a bigger screen area you may have to adjust the display parameters. I have a Mac Mini and it was not so difficult to do. You need to play around w/ the values a little to get it just right.

excellent monitor, i dont do gaming but i needed a bigger monitor for better viewing when control remote to my office computers. great price...there was an issue when the image did not occupied all the area, firt i was thinking of drivers issues, but not. Just needed to adjust the refresh rate and voila!

There are no assembly or quick start instructions that come with the monitor so you have to figure out the basics of assembling the stand and hooking up the monitor on your own. Out of the box, the display is blinding, retina-searingly bright. Im not exaggerating--there was ghosting of the image from the monitor still in my eyes when I closed them. The six(!) unlabeled buttons under the monitor are not intuitive (except for the power button, which is logically the one on the outside) and even after downloading and reading the instruction manual it took me about 10 minutes to figure out how to navigate the button/menu combination so I could turn down the brightness. Once I turned down the brightness the picture was crisp with good but not great colors. The old Samsung monitor that this replaced had a much warmer, more natural picture. On the other hand, the Samsung monitor had a pretty narrow viewing angle and if you were even a bit off to the side the quality of the picture changed noticeably. This monitor has a very wide viewing angle, with no distortion or darkening of the picture if you are viewing the monitor even at a sharp angle. Its possible that this monitor will grow on me with extended use and that I will get used to the colors, which are much brighter and cooler than I am accustomed to. But theres no excuse for a monitor to ship out with default settings so bright they can damage your eyes or for the difficult to navigate button/menu combination. I wish that I had purchased a different monitor but the exceptionally glowing reviews this one received had me fooled and now that the thing is open and hooked up theres really not much I can do--if I return it simply because I dont like it Amazon will charge me for return shipping and likely a restocking fee as well. I guess thats the chance you take when you buy an item like this over the internet without the chance to see it in person first. If you are looking for a warm and natural looking picture this is definitely not the monitor to buy. Consider yourself warned.
