Once I upgraded the ram and added a ssd drive in the open slots this baby has been smooth going. Laptop boots up quickly and I have no issue with the screen or sound quality you just have to adjust settings to your preference. I love the number pad, I missed it with my previous laptop. I really havent been on it enough to determine the battery life. It may suck or it may not but Ill live with. Ill still keep my box for just in case.

This is the second intel Aspir 5 I have had to return new out of the box becouse it would not do a clean reload wioit a blue screen

I bought this for my husband. He uses it in his art/sign business to down load images and take to his shop. Well worked great the first seven times he turned it on. Then, guess what it wouldnt turn on. So we were barely under the whistle for the return date. So the company gave us our money back....sort of they kept 20% for a restock fee. Shame on them that was a defective computer and there shouldnt have been a restock fee. So did they just rebox it and send it to another customer???? Very interesting??????

This Acer Aspire 5 A515-56-36UT has some major flaws. First of all it does have FHD 1080p screen, but has a very narrow viewing angle. You must have the screen at exactly the right angle in front of you to see the colors properly. Secondly, it has NO indicator that the caps lock is on. Thirdly, the charging and power on lights are on the side and can not be seen when normally using the laptop, thus when hitting the power button you have no idea if it is on or not! Also there is no indicator that the num lock is on. Finally, it is difficult to open the lid. Personally, I feel that Acer chinsed out on this laptop and I would not recommend it.

This bad boy is LIGHTWEIGHT and the battery life lasted longer than my DELL laptop. I’m glad I purchased this at the time I did. Now I can stay on top of my courses without worrying about technical problems.

AL inicio todo bien, con el uso normal, ni siquiera forzado, se bloquea apagando el monitor y sin apagarse calentandose, hasta forzarse con el boton a apagarse, tarda en prender nuevamente por el calentamiento previo. Lmantablemente ya no entro en garantia y ahora tengo que buscar otra solucion.
