Im quite impressed with the performance of the AMD 4500U. For a laptop, its a little beast! Its able to handle my workflow and apps such as Affinity Designer and Affinity photo. I also use Luminar 3 and Clip Studio paint with no problems what so ever. You can do a bit of light gaming too. Some games run really well, especially older titles but its by no means a gaming PC. The build quality is Ok. The keyboard and trackpad are pretty good too. I especially like that the number pad is included. I would have liked more ram and I ran out of hard drive space pretty quick. I recommend getting another 8GB stick of ram and another hard drive/SSD to expand your memory and storage. The webcam on this laptop not really good but it does the job.

I initially bought this PC to do school-related things like essays, PowerPoint, Excel, and so on. Although, I did not want to limit my PC to do just that and In case I wanted to game I felt that this could definitely meet my expectations.

It is a great machine if you are using it for work or gaming, although it wont be a huge gaming laptop you can game with this laptop. I have played GTA V and it does 40 fps, even in online. Great laptop very good looking.

Im VERY happy with this computer. I purchased a new Dell and its graphics and audio were inadequate for my needs. The USB interfaces were also weak. This computer is outstanding. It supports significant online communications needs -- external DVD player hooked up, HDMI cable to the big TV, zoom to share it all with many people -- and this computer is a workhorse. The Dell crashed or would play the DVD jerkily. Same software, same external hardware, etc. So I recommend this computer. Also very lightweight. Touchpad is a little temperamental == doesnt always respond the first time but still love the computer.

This laptop was purchased originally for school, but due to lockdowns and such was not used at all. The laptop was used quite literally 4-5 times simply to extend its PC display to a TV for guests. Thats it. It was never moved, dropped, disassembled, or anything still looks brand new, however the screen will not turn on at all and I even tried an external monitor. Its faulty and when I contacted Acer I was conveniently told that my machine is just out of warranty... So my option was to be left with a 600+$ paper weight or to send it in to them for diagnosis/repair which they estimated could 400-500++ $$... I understand sometime machines have problems but my goodness stay away from this and unless you have a lifetime warranty stay away from Acer products.

Very fast and responsive, brilliant bright colors, fast start up and shutdown. Got this for spouse, she is totally thrilled with performance, speed. Only one con, no CD/DVD player burner, but i had a portable one plugs into USB port. Works great. 64 bit system so can go very high on memory DDR4, 8 gigs.

I cant believe ACER sends out computers that are not completely assembled. The HDD Upgrade Kit came in a plastic envelope. The model I bought is not listed in the ACER site, so Im guessing the instructions for a similar model number should do. The first thing they tell you is that this should be performed by a qualified technician (which Im not). The second thing they tell you that any damage you cause while installing this kit will void the computers warranty. Why should I have to take apart a brand new computer to install parts that should have been installed by ACER? The least they can do is send me a voucher so i can get this part installed by a qualified technician at ACERs expense.
