Ive had it a little over 6 months and the screen casing is already falling apart at the joint where it opens and closes. I hope the screen isnt completely broken in another 6 months.

Battery life has been an issue since we have received it - lucky to get 2 hours of continuous (browsing) use before it needs to be recharged

worst WEBCAM - pixilated & blurry.

Curser never worked. Cant rate anything if it cant be used. I gave it as a gift and wasnt told about the problem until the return window was closed. Would not buy Acer brand again.

Solid

I bought this laptop at the beginning of last year. It lasted well for the first year but once my warranty ended, the computer became problematic. The problems included my cursor not working at all, a couple of the keys on the keyboard not working, and the laptop screen going black once I put it on. I am now scared every time I put on the laptop that something terrible will happen. I am also very disappointed with the Acer support services as they are very unhelpful. Overall very disappointed

PROS:

I really have not used it much due to other projects but what I have done met my expectations. I had another ACER years ago in 2011 and am not sure why I got away from them. Well built and a quality product.

Im not generally a fan of tech because its so problematic. I bought this device after reading the reviews and after I bought a name brand laptop just 6 months ago that was really bad. Right out of the box this won me over and I never say this. So easy to set up, beautiful screen, nice keyboard, everything syncd well, no complaints at all. Really happy I bought this. I paid quite a bit more than the last laptop and worth it.

Very fast for the purpose (studying).
