I was very skeptical getting this. But I went ahead and ordered it and wow, its great. Please do yourself a favor and get this. Its a great all around computer. Good for teleworking, games, you name it. I recently added a 8 gb ram stick to it and boy!! This thing is untouchable. I love it, great purchase.

Wanted a machine for email, browsing, and watching videos over wi-fi. This fits the bill perfectly, and at a price that doesnt empty the piggy bank. I recommend this product.

It is as I imagine

I bought it for school. Less than 6 MONTHS and issues with battery. It goes from 100% to 3% within 5 seconds and then shutdown. Closed background apps, updated, reset battery - didnt change anything. Even plugged in, there are pop-ups that the battery is low and shuts down. I will buy a new charger and battery and will update if that fixes the problem.

Ok, I have two little issues with this laptop (Acer Aspire 5 with Ryzen 5 4500U - 8gb ddr4 ram). The first one is that... You can add 8gb ddr4 for a total of (almost) 16gb ram, and it would work on dual channel (great) BUT, there is only a empty slot for ram, the other one is soldered to the motherboard, so, in order to keep the dual channel working, the max capability of ram you will have is 16gb, that, in MY experience, is the minimum recommended . I mean, there are cheaper models that have both modifiable memory slots, but they DECIDED to do it this way... Why? I do not know.

Product is worthy but the problem is Amazons return policy. I am on day 5 and was just promised I would receive a refund on day 7. Business day 7. Do they really need the interest on my money that badly?

Screen started to come apart after 9 months, so within warranty. Acers support website asked for the serial number or SNID but the would not accept the information. So they effectively preclude any warranty service!
