> 3 dayMy previous computer was a 2008 MacBook, so I guess I would be impressed with most new computers. However, I like how the keyboard is laid out and the action on the keys. Having a backlit keyboard is helpful in dark rooms as well. I would recommend this computer. Its easy to set up and get started right out of the box. I bought this from Amazon after doing a lot of research on other computers, and I am happy that I bought this one

> 3 dayI bought this computer as a family computer to replace an aging desktop. The desktop had a Gen 4 Intel Core I7, and a non-SSD hard drive. This computer is sooo much faster! It boots up super fast and everything is super peppy and responsive. However with lots of people using it and leaving software and browser tabs open, it quickly runs out of RAM. 2 of the 8 gigs of RAM are reserved for the video card, this cant be changed. Once the RAM starts to get full, it gets very sluggish. Like it would take a half second from when I typed a character until it showed up on the screen. Sometimes I could type multiple words without any visual response and then they would all show up at once.

> 3 dayThis laptop was purchased originally for school, but due to lockdowns and such was not used at all. The laptop was used quite literally 4-5 times simply to extend its PC display to a TV for guests. Thats it. It was never moved, dropped, disassembled, or anything still looks brand new, however the screen will not turn on at all and I even tried an external monitor. Its faulty and when I contacted Acer I was conveniently told that my machine is just out of warranty... So my option was to be left with a 600+$ paper weight or to send it in to them for diagnosis/repair which they estimated could 400-500++ $$... I understand sometime machines have problems but my goodness stay away from this and unless you have a lifetime warranty stay away from Acer products.
