Acer Chromebook 14, Aluminum, 14-inch Full HD, Intel Celeron N3160, 4GB LPDDR3, 32GB, Chrome, Gold, CB3-431-C0AK

Its a great looking Chromebook. The gold is a nice color. The obnoxious part of this computer is that most of the case edges are razor sharp. I have been working with it continuously to try to burnished the edges with a diamond hone. I have managed to tame down the problem, BUT REALLY, why am I having to finish the manufacturing process. Also have dropped it and the entire corner collapsed. Had to do some major bending to get it back into place.

La batería dura más de 10 horas trabajando con buena iluminación en la pantalla. Pensé que iba a necesitar un mouse para trabajar pero me acomodé muy bien con el trackpad, es muy grande y cómodo. El único problema que le veo es que el teclado es para inglés, y puede ser un poco incómodo para un usuario que necesita escribir en español. En la última actualización de Chrome OS me apareció la Play Store, osea que ya funcionan las aplicaciones de android en este modelo sin necesidad de usar el canal beta ni el modo de desarrollador.

We owned an Acer 14-CB3 Chromebook for about 5 years. It was a good machine in its day, but its day was 2017, 5 years ago. The automatic updates expired in 2022. If you think that is not important, think again. When the browser gets new features, you wont get them. For this reason alone, some websites will stop working. That will get worse over time. Also, you will not receive any vulnerabilities that get fixed.

Very low quality

To begin with, I knew going in that I was getting an android operating system that would not have all the functionality of Windows, especially MS Word. I have a 13 inch Win10 HP Spit with an i3 processor and so that is my comparison. My objectives for this laptop were:

This is an ok cheap laptop. Chrome book has some different features that take getting used to but the laptop it self is good. Very sturdy but heavy. Thought it was a 360 flip screen but it’s not.

As of 7/28/2018 this laptop is going strong. We love it.
