> 24 hourG-SYNC- A lot of reviews on here are conflicting I am running on a gtx 1080 ftw when I received it came with a HDMI which limits it plus the G-Sync was not showing up. I ordered a DP cable what is better for pc monitors and after the switch the option to Set up G-SYNC has shown up now in the Nvidia control panel to enable it on this monitor Monitor- Came with no dead pixels setup was really easy simple connect with a twist screw at the base of the stand. The screen first boot was dim and dark can easily go into the settings and adjust to make it perfect for my desk and room lighting so not a problem after some tweaking played a few games and seems dark like the gamma is low I currently gave the HDR on so it wont let me adjust it on the monitor but probably little more tweaking and it will be fine after but doesnt bother me much. Final- Dont have really any cons for me but I have only just got this monitor and its my first 1440p 144hz monitor so I have not experienced others to compare just thought I would clear up the G-Sync issue and give my thoughts.

> 24 hourSpent weeks looking for a good monitor to use with my ps5. Im not really computer savvy ( I havent actively used a computer since 2014), so I basically had to research what all the specs mean, and how it would function with my console. With a $300 budget I wanted the best I could get to hit 120fps and also with hdr and at least 1080p. So the extra pixel count is a nice bonus with this model. If youre discouraged to buy a monitor after watching reviews and reading reddit threads and seeing how someone always had something negative to say about any computer product. as someone who knows basically nothing about this stuff, I can say that this particular monitor has met all my needs and Im 100% satisfied. I would buy again. Setup was super easy, you really dont even need to reed the instructions. I had it out the box and set up and playing games within 20 minutes. And the analog stick button on the back makes it super easy to navigate its menus. Just an overall amazing monitor for the price and for anyone with next gen consoles.

> 24 hour-Not perfect though. The stand is bad, always wobbles. Build quality is decent -Brightness is not that great, but how bright do you need it? Also I wish they had put the connectors on the back instead of under it. - The picture quality is excellent, the colors are the best part of this monitor; very vibrant and accurate. Ive experienced eye fatigue from other monitors with similar specs, but not with this monitor. Fortunately the backlight bleed is minimal, there is only some slight glow on the bottom corners. Not as sharp as 4k of course. -Excellent for gaming Very smooth 144hz picture, maybe slight blur. It is free sync capable and gsync compatible, so you can get tear free gaming with either an amd or nvidia graphics card. I would buy this again. I wouldnt pay much for a similar monitor

> 24 hourIve used this monitor for roughly a year and have no complaints other then the HDR looking a bit dull and the brightness being quite poor. I recently bought an ROG monitor and Im blown away with the difference in response and picture quality. If you can find this for a really good deal 150-200$ it would be worth it I suppose, but just pay the 300$ for the Asus.

> 24 hourIn all my years, i have never used an IPS Panel before. My last monitor of 8 years was a Dell ST2421L TN Panel and i was quite happy with its performance (i used it for everything included photo and video editing). The moment I plugged this Acer on and Windows booted, i was completely blown away. Compared to all my previous TN Panels, this was bright and colours were vivid. Experiencing 144Hz was not as life changing as simply the vividness and brightness of the panel. An equally superb experience was moving from 1080p to 1440p. I can game with a RTX 2060 and still get 100+ FPS in recent titles and over 144FPS in E-Sport Titles. Outside of games, having a 1440p screen is almost as good as having a dual monitor 1080p setup. My productivity increased just by having a larger screen real estate. If youre still on 1080p and / or using a TN Panel, it is definitely time to switch and for a sub $300 price you most certainly cannot go wrong. This is a must buy!!

> 24 hourtl:dr- For you more modest or humble setup, this is your monitor. The least bloated option for when you simply just want a great monitor to meet a variety of gaming needs. Out of the box it will take a lot of toying to configure the perfect cornea burning experience. You can save profiles which I really dont care about as well as a wealth of other options you might want to google unless youre experienced or enthusiast level. Its expansion port can also give you 2x USB 3.0 out of one with is a nice cherry on to. A bit heavy, most new monitors are, rounded stand takes up a bit of space. Higher smoother frames always beat out a 4k experience on my book unless you and your buddies want a full couch gaming experience or a home theater gaming experience.

> 24 hourMoving from a 144hz to 240hz I really did notice a difference, especially in games like Fortnite. I think this monitor is one of the first for newer 240hz monitors at a lower price point, I got on sale for $300 which I think is the long term price point for this class of product.

> 24 hourDecent affordable 1440 monitor with a nice refresh rate. Biggest issue is the IPS glow makes this unusable for working with dark images, videos, etc. Its not the worse I have seen, but when I have this next to my K272HL its very noticeable.
