First of all, I want to admit that I always hated Acer, because their product quality wasnt good ( i.e Notebooks, from personal experience) so it was always my last resort to buy their product. Global pandemic and ruined economy forced me to lower my standards and buy this product. I wanted this monitor for pure gaming experience. I switched from 4K TV and 1080p monitor would be too much downgrade for me, so i thats why i chose this monitor. First impression of this monitor was really bad. Colors were washed out and white colors looked very yellowish. i tried tweaking some color options but it was still terrible. I wanted to send it back, BUT i found a solution. If anyone is having similar experience, this is what i did (Only for Nvidia graphics cards): right click on desktop and go to Nvidia control panel > Change Resolution > Option 3. Use Nvidia Color settings. (tick this) > Set output Dynamic range to full. Now switch to Adjust video color settings > Option 2. With the Nvidia Settings > Advanced > Dynamic range (Full 0-255). Apply And done. After this, it looks like pure IPS monitor and not like TN one. Colors look really good with this options turned on, feels like a different monitor. (I dont know if AMD owners can do this as well...) For gaming this monitor is good as well, i didnt have any major issues yet. it has little bit of ghosting around 85 FPS, so 144fps players might see more of it. Nothing too major in my opinion but everyone has their preference. Shadow boost feature is meh, but some might like it. Built-in speaker quality is not good also, sound is too low even at max. Lastly, power on button has terrible placement. Turning on this monitor without touching your screen is a challenge. Would i suggest this monitor to a friend who is on Budget? Yes. Would i buy this monitor if i had extra 100$ to spend? No. Its been 1 month without any issues, i will keep my review updated if anything goes bad before the warranty. 3.5/5 stars

I just opened this for the first time and set it up, and there’s already a dead pixel. Such a shame because i was so excited and this killed my mood. I’ll probably update this review in the future to give a better review. For now, 3 stars for pixel.

G-SYNC- A lot of reviews on here are conflicting I am running on a gtx 1080 ftw when I received it came with a HDMI which limits it plus the G-Sync was not showing up. I ordered a DP cable what is better for pc monitors and after the switch the option to Set up G-SYNC has shown up now in the Nvidia control panel to enable it on this monitor Monitor- Came with no dead pixels setup was really easy simple connect with a twist screw at the base of the stand. The screen first boot was dim and dark can easily go into the settings and adjust to make it perfect for my desk and room lighting so not a problem after some tweaking played a few games and seems dark like the gamma is low I currently gave the HDR on so it wont let me adjust it on the monitor but probably little more tweaking and it will be fine after but doesnt bother me much. Final- Dont have really any cons for me but I have only just got this monitor and its my first 1440p 144hz monitor so I have not experienced others to compare just thought I would clear up the G-Sync issue and give my thoughts.

This monitor is amazing. I got it on sale for $200. The graphics and resolution are amazing!! My games look amazing. 27” is a perfect size for a basic - sized desk. I would recommend this monitor to anyone. Note: the graphics are better if you use Radeon AMD Graphics card, because this monitor only has amd sync premium. It doesn’t have G sync for nvidia. The graphics look better with amd because of the amd free-sync premium.

First off: In this price range, this is the best monitor that checks off the most boxes in my opinion. -Gorgeous, color accurate display that covers 95% DCI-P3 color gamut -Buttery smooth 144hz -Quite good contrast, despite being an IPS panel -FOUR USB 3.0 ports?! Insane -Gsync compatible, even with HDR despite what is said -HDR that I think looks pretty solid for the level -Great viewing angles -Minimal if any backlight bleed -Very adjustable stand & Vesa Mountable I did tons of research before choosing a monitor. I thought about getting the LG Ultragear for $80 more. However, it has worse contrast, no wider color gamut, and no USB ports. It really felt like I would be getting a lot less while paying more. Many others had similar but lesser specs, or cost way more. This is the perfect sweet spot and is a banger of a deal. That being said, Acer QC could use a bit of work. This is my third monitor. My first one ghosted like it was on Scooby-Doo and would occasionally flicker. The second one was DOA. This one has had absolutely no issues and has been fantastic. With Amazons return policy and fast shipping it was not much of a headache getting replacements. I highly recommend this monitor if you are looking for a 1440p 144hz IPS Panel with tons of features!

I recently purchased two each of the following 27 inch 1440P IPS monitors to use in a 4 monitor array where I already owned two Acer K272HUL Dbmidpx L 27 IPS monitors. Ranked from favorite to least favorite below: 1) Acer Nitro XV272U Pbmiiprzx 27 WQHD - these are my new favorite 1440p monitors due to the fact that they seem to deliver the best image quality out of all of the monitors that I have tested. I use these for productivity and am not really a gamer. Great text readability, minimal back light bleed, nice sleek design, decent glare reduction without making images blurry (see notes on the Dell unit below). Great controls and menu except a little inconvenient if you have these mounted side by side as the controls are on the right rear of the monitors so might be difficult to access on the left monitor due to placement. Youll need to physically move the monitor to access the controls. Not a big deal to me though. 2) Asus ProArt Display PA278QV - these were my second favorite but I just simply preferred the image quality from the Acer Nitro XV272U a little better. I dont love the measuring lines on the front of the display but suspect they may be useful for video/photo editors? I also think the menu system and buttons can be improved a little. Overall, a nice monitor but didnt quite cut it for me. 3) Acer Nitro VG270U BMIIPX - great image quality and similar image quality like the other Acers listed above, but the fatal flaw with these is they caused my computer to slow to a crawl whenever my PC would wake from sleep. I contacted Acer support and they believe it to be an issue with the firmware thats installed on the monitors. Returned them. 4) Dell U2719D - really nice sleek design with a great menu system controls and input options but the anti glare coating was too aggressive for my liking and the image quality was just meh to me when compared to the two Acers listed above. Hope this helps someone searching for monitors :)

When viewing directly on, the screen looks quite good. However, for an IPS, if this is a true IPS, it has some very poor viewing angles. I had a VA panel with wider angles than this panel has. I get wash out starting at around 30 degrees from center either direction horizontally, 15 degrees vertically. HDR looks nice, though it is a shame that for 10bit HDR you’re locked at 120hz. Black light bleed is noticeable, this will depend on your panel as well though, as it will vary. My panel hits 409 nits, which is good enough. Compared to the 4K 60hz HDR screen on my Alienware M17 R4, the Nitro has SIGNIFICANTLY less backlight bleed. And, while the Acer Panel is at 409 nits, and the M17 sits at a comfortable 523 nits, the HDR looks much better on the Acer Panel. In a lot of ways, though it’s 1440p, overall it looks better than the 4K screen on the M17. Pretty sure Alienware uses $10 panels on their $3500 laptops, as it’s definitely not the highest end screen I’ve seen on a laptop.

So I bought this for my Xbox series X. I did a lot of research on what quality I could get for a fair price, and this is what I came up with. Honestly I’ve never had something better than a GC so I have nothing to compare it to. I’m sure I couldn’t spent more money to get something a lot more crisp. But I think the picture looks great and does the job for what I paid for it. Honestly it could be a lot better with a gaming PC but like I said I’ll have to find that out later. I haven’t had any problems with the screen or how it functions. The brightness kind of bleeds into the corners like some people have said, but you don’t really notice unless the screen is completely black or it’s a dark environment. But honestly I figured out if I have it at the right height and angle relative to how high I am sitting, it fixes that issue for the most part. Overall if you’re looking for a better picture quality and a lot better refresh rate over a tv without giving an arm and a leg up, I would highly recommend this monitor. The only problem I had was the monitor doesn’t click into the stand for some reason so it’s just kind of hooked onto it. But I’m sure I could fix it if I actually took the time to look at it. As long as you have it on a flat surface that does rock to extreme angles then it should be alright.

These things are awesome… I got two of them for work/gaming and I could instantly see a difference over my old 1080p monitors… everything is more vibrant, crisp and clean.
