> 3 dayJust received the Monitor, only had it for a few hours but its stunning compared to my former 60hz 1080p monitor. The display quality is excellent and my xbox and PC both output 2k @ 120hz perfectly. I knocked a single start down due to the max brightness not being as bright as I wanted, but otherwise this monitor is a fantastic price.

> 3 dayBacklight bleed is somewhat bad in my opinion, being very noticeable in the corners through certain shades of black, although it is not that bad if you arent displaying shades of black often. But for reference when it is night time (in-game) it gets kind of hard to see a lot of times even after turning off my lights and playing in a dark room. If you do a bleed test, it doesnt come back very bad, and its only during certain shades where it is a big issue. Opposed to the majority of reviews, the monitors color accuracy is really not that great either. Well thats not necessarily true. Its a nice display and has a wide range of colors and shows them beautifully, but the monitors preset color settings are somewhat inaccurate, you will most likely have to tune them a bit. For me personally, my display had a faint red-pink tint to everything bright colored, like white, or cream. For example, characters skin will look sunburnt or blushed instead of crisp and clean. This can of course be adjusted but the tuning is only to eye and always leaves room for error. 1080p looks bad, but to be honest it almost always will for monitors that are made for 1440p. If you are looking to game in 1080p the majority of the time I do not recommend. This is mainly just a note to people reading reviews to lower expectations. 1440p is hard to downscale into 1080p because it is not an even switch so the monitor will be displaying a slightly larger than a 1:1 ratio making images blurry and low quality. Some monitors look better than others and some components try to help fix this issue but your quality will not be good. Other notes include: Its support for HD is good (which reduces some of the bleed when turned on it seems) Its brightness settings are good (I almost always have to keep it low because anything past like 50 will fry your eyes like an egg, especially with the max brightness setting on It is quick and responsive 1440p looks nice It comes with built in speakers, even though they arent the best and have zero depth they work for casual gaming and those of us who are too broke or stubborn to buy some nice ones The stand and connections are made out of mainly plastic but have a metal base Lots of movement from the monitor in all angles, easily adjustable Overall pretty good for the price though, I mean what would you expect? These are all not the biggest issues and for most people wont be that noticeable.

Greater than one weekIve used this monitor for roughly a year and have no complaints other then the HDR looking a bit dull and the brightness being quite poor. I recently bought an ROG monitor and Im blown away with the difference in response and picture quality. If you can find this for a really good deal 150-200$ it would be worth it I suppose, but just pay the 300$ for the Asus.

> 3 dayI found that setting this gaming monitor up, was really easy and nothing really to it. You only get an HDMI cable with this though, no DisplayPort cable. Color on this is BEAUTIFUL! HDR feature seems to work its magic, vibrant colors! The 1440p resolution is just borderline of what Id accept, anything less feels like I dont get that crisp picture. The 144hz refresh, is also works well. I dont see any ghosting, and the game feels and looks so smooth! Amazing picture resolution AND color = outstanding quality. The blacks really do look dark and amazing. The bad about this is the speakers. Quality is not great and it isnt loud. Either way, I never use the built in speakers because I have my own speaker and headphones I use that already has amazing sound. I would highly RECOMMEND if you are looking for a good monitor, or just on a budget. The best monitor I have had. Why pay more for anything else when this is all youll need! And nah they did not pay me for this. I just love this monitor so much already and it has been like 2 days. Lol If anything should go bad, Im editing this ASAP.

> 3 dayIf your going through reviews trying to decide whether to buy or not to buy. BUY IT! For the price this can not be beat. Not the strongest build quality but aside from that this is excellent value and perfect for office/gaming usage. Plus, this does not cause me any eye strain what so ever which is a huge bonus for me! Seriously, stop reading the negative reviews and buy this monitor. I spent so much time reading reviews, rtings, and reddit just to find a damn monitor that wouldnt cause eye issues and Im glad I went with this one because it is one of the few monitors Ive ever owned that causes zero eye strain. Beautiful picture and refresh rate as well.

> 3 day170hz 1440p 27” $250 bucks!?! It’s a insane deal coming from a well known brand (sure if you want a cheaper deal look at spectre and pixio type brands). I’m replacing a acer1440p 144hz monitor that costed 80 bucks more! The hdr is ok def better than not having it. 170hz showed up right in windows display settings (using DisplayPort not sure if hdmi is as good). Def has backlight bleed but it’s not as bad as some monitors I’ve had in the past. Really great monitor, thinking about grabbing another to match.

> 3 dayGreat on paper - usb 3 hub, 165 hz, 2 display ports. everything I wanted in a 1440p monitor. On initial plugin, I got an extremely washed screen. Turning of HDR for the display made that go away. On Macos Monterey, fonts arent crisp, the horizontal parts of the letter P, for example would be thinner on top than in the middle. Also got some pink and cyan flashes on day one, that was concerning right away. There is also a slight flicker now and then. On Windows things looked better and I was able to game. On the 4th day, randomly, my mac and the monitor wouldnt talk anymore. Other cable didnt fix, reboot didnt fix. Only when I put in my old monitor were things normal again. I decided to return it. Some other gripes, even when it worked: * The 2 side usb ports are not in an easy accessible location. Those ports normally are great for usb stick, a mouse or headphones dongle, but they are so deep in that you have to move the monitor to reach them * The on-screen menu cant be brought up if it doesnt have a working signal. So I cant troubleshoot anything in the menu when the display is black. It really frustrated me when the signal went out * The on-screen menu is also super slow, even for input switching, very tedious

Greater than one weekSo I bought this for my Xbox series X. I did a lot of research on what quality I could get for a fair price, and this is what I came up with. Honestly I’ve never had something better than a GC so I have nothing to compare it to. I’m sure I couldn’t spent more money to get something a lot more crisp. But I think the picture looks great and does the job for what I paid for it. Honestly it could be a lot better with a gaming PC but like I said I’ll have to find that out later. I haven’t had any problems with the screen or how it functions. The brightness kind of bleeds into the corners like some people have said, but you don’t really notice unless the screen is completely black or it’s a dark environment. But honestly I figured out if I have it at the right height and angle relative to how high I am sitting, it fixes that issue for the most part. Overall if you’re looking for a better picture quality and a lot better refresh rate over a tv without giving an arm and a leg up, I would highly recommend this monitor. The only problem I had was the monitor doesn’t click into the stand for some reason so it’s just kind of hooked onto it. But I’m sure I could fix it if I actually took the time to look at it. As long as you have it on a flat surface that does rock to extreme angles then it should be alright.

> 3 daySome of the color is a little off. Reds look wrong. The lack of remote is a pain as even stringing the volume is a hassle. Overall great for the money
