> 24 hourPurchased this after several agonizing hours reading monitor reviews on multiple websites. Were using this as an external monitor for a Windows laptop and a Chromebook, mostly for office work and some casual graphic design. Couldnt be happier with it! The picture looks great, and its usable even in bright ambient conditions. The ergonomics (especially height adjustment) are very welcome. The lack of USB ports could be viewed as disappointing, however, Acer does make a companion model of nearly the same monitor, but with USB ports, so if those are important to you, the option to add them is available (at a higher price, of course). Were not using this in an environment where were extremely sensitive to color accuracy or latency, so were not rendering any judgment on those aspects. But as an affordable 27 monitor with decent performance and good ergonomics, this monitor was a winner for us.

> 24 hourThe title says it all. I bought 2 of them and dont have a problem at all. It has been a few months already and display has been working very well. No dead pixels at all and the quality of the monitors are so good. Definity worth the money and replacement. I use the Display Port option and the quality is amazing. Acer brand is a great company that makes the best monitors.

> 24 hourThis monitor is great for 1440p gaming. G-sync works well, and it runs up to 144Hz. Response time and input lag are minimal. Theres no perceptible motion blur. Back buttons are a bit hard to read/feel when navigating the menu. Make sure you are using the right cables! For 144Hz at 1440p, you will need at least HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort 1.2. The included monitor stand is wobbly. I have my monitor on an arm using the VESA mount. The back of the monitor is curved, which could make attaching lights or other accessories difficult. The monitor has some interesting features like Picture-in-picture if you have multiple computers. Theres also an option to have the monitor put a crosshair on your screen. I think itd be more useful if I could modify the crosshairs. The built-in options are quite bulky. Brightness and colors start to change if you are viewing this monitor at an 30-40 degree angle. The contrast ratio is mediocre, and there is some backlight bleed in dark areas of the screen. These are all expected with IPS panels. Sound: The built-in speakers try their hardest, but they sound like small speakers and I dont use them. You may want to take a minute to deactivate the Monitor speaker device in Windows so it doesnt show up on the Output list.

> 24 hourI researched a lot about which was a quality 1440p 144hz IPS monitor to buy. Turns out, most of them are really good! When I narrowed it down, it was between the LG 27GL850 or the Acer XV272U. The LG monitor was out of stock everywhere so I ended up with this one and Im very glad I did. I bought this to game with a 2080 ti and PS4 Pro. I havent received the 2080 ti yet, when I do I will update the review. On the PS4 Pro, I am very impressed. I normally game on a 55 4K Samsung KS8000, an amazing HDR TV to compare the monitor to. The PS4P detects the Acer Nitro XV2 and sets the resolution at 4K. There is a Super Sharpness enabled by default, testing it on and off on multiple PS4P games there is a big difference on same and no difference on some. Going through all the different color modes, I was freaking out at how an IPS panel could be so washed out like a TN panel...until I enabled HDR. Maybe Im used to gaming on the HDR TV so much or this monitor is terrible without HDR enabled...Im not sure until I test it on the PC soon. But with HDR enabled, my eyes were overwhelmed with how amazing the colors are. With HDR enabled, this monitors maximum brightness is really bright like my eyes were starting to hurt and strain so I probably damaged my retinas a little bit inspecting for BLB and dead pixels...which I received a monitor with no BLB or dead pixels! So far Im really happy with my monitor for the PS4 Pro, so I hope the experience is the same on PC when I received my GPU in a few days.

> 24 hourRecently I bought a new gaming PC, that included an MSi Gaming Trio RTX 3080, but being bottlenecked by my 60hz 1080p monitor, I might as well have been plaing on a GTX 1080. Wanting to push more of the limits of my new GPU, I purchased this monitor. Going from 60hz 1080p gaming to 144hz 1440p gaming is a large jump. The smoothness is unparralled by any monitor Ive seen, and it is dramatically noticeable when changing the settings back to 60hz. There is clearly a lot more detail at 1440p as well. The games look that much more realistic and look way more beautiful. Definitely a good addition to any person who enjoys gamings tech collection. The colors look better than my last monitor also. I think there could be more color callibration features, but thats something Ill work out and maybe update my review upon figuring out. But so far, the brightness and color looks fine great, being an IPS monitor with HDR. Although you supposedly cant get overdrive and HDR at the same time, the display has very accurate colors regardless. The overdrive is already preconfigured, but most monitors benefit most from the normal setting for overdrive, in order to get that response-time down and decrease motion blur for a true 144fps experience. I dont notice much motion blur, everything looks smooth as butter to me, but this is also my first time viewing a 144hz monitor. But regardless, its a giant leap from 60hz 1080p in terms of image quality and video smoothness, and Im happy with this purchase, and will now get to experience better what my PC is capable of.

> 24 hourAfter using it for more than a year, I recommend this screen to players who want competitive games and story games because it combines these two parts because this screen has very beautiful colors and makes your experience in story games beautiful. As for those who want it in competitive games, it also has good technologies such as (HDR 400- color accuracy 98% ) To help you in competitive games, but there is something not good about it. If you enable this technology (VRB (Extreme)) there will be ghosting in colors from the reality of an experience that is only bad in this thing other than that it’s really good for the price that I bought it for.
