Everything points to this laptop being a great deal, and quite powerful for gaming overall. However, right out of the box, and after charging for 24 hours as recommended, the laptop turns on but the screen remains blank.

I bought to use with oculus quest works great both usb-c and USB-a ports work for it

I am writing this review one year after purchasing.

Ive had this laptop for a week now, and while there is much to like, there is also a few things that make me wish I had bought a different machine.

I have had this laptop since july22 since the day I got it I have kept it on a 4 inch high cooling rack with all external peripheral monitor mouse etc. Well the fan quit working in the back and now have to wait 20+ days for a fix this is crazy and I cant just get a refund it has to be fixed this computer was my job so now Im out of work thanks acer

Performs well, and not terribly loud. Marginal gains from overclocking at the expense of a dramatic increase in noise. Display is not quite as bright as I would like for a room with lots of natural light but the refresh rate is a plus. RAM and M.2 expansion is painless, however 2.5 SSD expansion is effectively impossible without finding the proper cable. After calling Acer, they pointed me to a third party that produces the proper cable. Too difficult to navigate their web page so I gave up. I have been through two cables from amazon, and they did not work.

this was everything needed for both gaming and for school/work, performance is great stands for everything it represents had for about a month so far and still next best thing to a great laptop best purchase highly unlikely that you would be disappointed

Works really well for playing games and what not. The only problem i have is that the track pad is useless. Extremely useless, so dont plan on using it AT ALL!!!!!!

Overall, Im super pleased with this laptop, and I am also really glad I went with the model that has the 16GB DDR4 RAM and the 512GB SSD storage space. The screen has great resolution, basically anything Ive done on it is super fast, and for the price point, youre getting a lot of laptop.
