I was in love with this laptop before the first blue screen. After some troubleshooting, factory resetting the laptop a few times I was obligated to try something different, a full reinstall from scratch. It did work for a while them blue screens again. I have tested and stressed my laptop and I have no hardware issue. Only problem I’m facing after a full install from scratch is that predator software doesn’t launch. When I try to install it windows says that it has unsigned drivers... even after forcing the install I try to launch it but I only see the splash screen, actual software doesn’t launch. Not a big deal but can’t set the keyboard color scheme without predator sense. Besides those issues the laptop is really nice

I was so excited to get my PREDATOR. I grabbed the Amazon box, opened it up and viewed my first bona-fide game system of this kind. Like a kid in a candy store, I could not get to my new experience fast enough. After opening up my holy grail of gaming systems, charging her up and hitting the on button....... I waited....... And Waited....... And waited....... Finally, she fired up and came to life. It was like having a lightning bolt rain down on you, yet, land gently in your lap. It was intoxicating for about five seconds. Thats when it turned off and never started back up. I called The Predator Premium Service line to ask how this could have happened and what to do next. Sadly, ACER told me, um, Id call AMAZON, they can help you better then we can at this point. HOLY SMOKES PEOPLE. I just needed a little PREDATOR love. Finally, I called AMAZON and was helped in the way that only AMAZON can help. Well see what happens with round two.

Very pleased with this laptop in terms of speed, noise level, and features. There is a slight amount of light bleed around the edges of the screen, but I dont use it in a dark room so it really isnt a problem for me. One of the reasons I chose this model was for ease of access for a SSD addition as a secondary drive; very straightforward. (I didnt have to remove the motherboard like some competitors do.)

after the lcd screen failed after ONLY 2 MONTHS of use, I sent to Acer for repair. AND THEY SENT MY LAPTOP BACK TO ME AFTER A MONTH IN THIS CONDITION. I am extremely disappointed that Acer would not refund or replace my product after reporting this to them asap.

I decided to buy myself a gaming laptop and for the price, this one can not be beaten. The price is reasonable while being a very sturdy machine. Most games run on ultra or high setting. The only downside was the storage space but for an extra 70 bucks, you can expand it so not an issue at all.

Awesome gaming laptop. Superb cooling system for optimal gaming performance. Lightning speed overrall, including bootup.

I bought this for my 16 year old son, and he Loves it! He says it great for gaming and for doing his school work. He is very happy so far.

Used for general gaming. very happy with it until it just didnt turn on one day. replaced the cord and it still wouldnt turn on. so. yeah. rather put -out :(
