> 3 dayFrom opening and closing the laptop various times the wire for the video camera fails if you don’t have it at a certain viewing angle. I didn’t do my research properly but the video camera wire is notorious for failing in this particular modal.

> 3 dayI did a lot of research, watching youtube videos, reading articles, trying to find the best gaming laptop for the $1,000. When I first saw the predator helios 300, I fell in love. I love the blue color and the sleek design of the laptop. I was amazed by the specs. Core i7 processor, GTX 1660ti, 16gb ram, 512gb ssd. I knew that this was the one.

> 3 dayFantastic gaming laptop! This is a huge improvement over the Acer Nitro laptop in every way. The 144 hz screen is incredible and it’s hard to go back to standard 60 hz displays after using it. You can push your mobile gaming to the limit but be aware the battery life is not great. The fans can also get extremely loud when playing graphic intensive games. This is a great middle point gaming laptop for anyone looking to game on the go!

> 3 daySo far it’s worked pretty well for the last 2 days in regards to drafting in AutoCAD’s Civil3D 2020. I don’t game at all but after a couple recommendations by others who have used similar gaming laptops with a hexa core intel i7 processorS, 16GB or more of RAM & NVIDIA GTX 1660 series card I figured I would give it a try. 15.6” screen is a little smaller for drafting which a cheaper wireless mouse. Fans kick up speed occasionally when I’ve built a DEM surface with a lot of definition. But definitely a nice machine so far for AutoCAD Civil 3D usage. Should something change in my experience I’ll update later

> 3 dayUnfortunately after only 8 shorts months this laptop died. took it to a computer repair place and they said the mother board had a short and it needed to be replaced however after 6 weeks they had zero success finding a new or refurbished mother board, So Im taking my still broken computer home. I looked on several forums where loads of buyers had the same issue. This is way too much money to be spending to only get 8 months out of a laptop.

> 3 dayFor the money it is a really great machine. However if you are running mmorpgs you are almost definitely going to want to get a cooling pad otherwise the fans do get kinda loud. Its cool that you can adjust the fan speed when needed too. Also idk how this will affect anyone else and it may just be a me thing but i have a magnetic closure on a wristwatch that causes the screen to throw hissy fits when worn on my left wrist and making contact with the lower left corner of the laptop (magnets and computers dont mix well lol).
