This gaming computer is awesome! Been playing GTA 5 and DOOM. No freezes. No lag time. Excellent refresh rate. Definite difference in picture quality from this to PS4. Major drawback is limited storage space for game downloads.

I have been building my own PCs for gaming for a while now. This was my first try with a gaming laptop. Within 5 minutes of playing any game the surface of the laptop above the function keys would get so hot it would burn to touch it. CPU temps were in the high 90s. Constant stuttering, screen tearing, input lag and inconsistent FPS. Big problems trying to record game play with OBS which should be a simple thing to do since the GTX 10 series graphics cards are supposed to be able to record without impacting performance. I was expecting a lot more from this based on the specifications. Returned.

quite a slim model for a gaming laptop. performance is nice, fan might be a little loud due to intense heat caused by small size. overall a nice budge gaming system.

Id love to write an in depth review, and may later, but I will have to keep this short. For the money, I feel that this is likely the best off the shelf laptop you can buy. After doing a fair bit of research, I pulled the trigger on this purchase and could not be happier with it. This was a bit of a necessity buy as my other laptop essentially bit the dust. I didnt want to spend a lot of money, but had to have something that was powerful enough to do everything that I needed it to do. This laptop did not disappoint. 5/5 would recommend.

For all gamers who are looking at this... its great. ARK survival evolved on max graphics works with no laggs. Screen is ammazing ang keyboard is confortable.

I wanted to like this laptop. However, the heating issues are irredeemable and I’m returning the laptop.

DO NOT waste your money. I purchased this 5 months ago and I am currently in the process of having it shipped for repair under the warranty already. It died during gaming, nice job for a gaming laptop right? Acer support had me try battery resets before finally saying it needs repair. The shipping label took 3 days longer to be sent to me via email and I had to call support 3x. Also, the product must be packaged and shipped, with insurance on my dime, with no reimbursement or even FedEx credit from Acer. I inquired if this was available and was denied, all shipping costs and status is out of Acers hands. Trash company, save yourself the grief folks, dont buy acer.

Worked flawlessly for 2 years then the Intel Integrated Graphics 630 GPU died. Have to run global settings on the Nvidia card which will significantly reduce the life span of my graphics card. Sad end to what was a great machine. 2 years is too short of a lifespan for a laptop thats $1,000.

I order this and it was running very rough even though I did all updates and drivers and it didn’t even have the cable inside the laptop to plug in an extra ssd I returned it and am getting another laptop
