> 3 dayLaptop has already been sent back twice for repairs with 4 parts being replaced including both fans, motherboard, thermal paste and speakers. It gets the job done for playing fortnight on lower settings, but I wouldn’t push it with anything more detail then that. Not worth the price or the hassle of acer support.

07-06-2025I bought this laptop in 2019, and it was a good deal then for $999. Its honestly baffling they still have this i7-8750 (8th gen intel) & GTX 1060 for $1200. I just upgraded from this laptop to one that has a i7-12700 (4 generations newer) and a 3070 for $1300 from best buy. Ill mention the this one in the bottom of this message. If youre a first time gaming laptop buyer, dont get screwed by this offering. Also, amazon is like the best place to buy pretty much anything BUT gaming laptops. These things tend to be overpriced on here. Best Buy has some really good stuff. But if youre looking for the level of performance this listed laptop can bring, you can probably get it for less than $500. (Its still pretty good). But, if youre looking to spend $1200, you should be getting AT LEAST a 3060 and AT LEAST an i7-11700H (AT LEAST). Look up Best Gaming Laptops (Updated for [insert current month] 2022!) on reddit. That is the best resource.

> 3 dayFirst off I would like to Thank Amazon for giving me the option to pay this off in 5 Monthly Payments. By doing so I was able to get something that otherwise I would not have been able to purchase. With that being said I love this machine. I play it almost every day and there are no real issues that I have come across. It does blow some super hot air out the back so sometimes my legs get warm, but I usually have one of those laptop desks when I sit on my couch playing or simply just place it on top of a pillow when its in my lap so my legs arent as close to the machine. Im so busy playing video games on this that I really feel like I havent taken the time to unlock all the machines potential. If your some one Like me who was looking for a machine that can handle games huge games like fallout 4 and was looking to go away from the consoles (I feel like once I buy a game I shouldnt have to pay again to play it) The monthly payment was a life saver. This Machine is everything I could hope for and more. Thank you Amazon!

> 3 dayIt was a great laptop until the mother board took a dump. Couldnt wait 30 or more days to send it in under warranty so I took it to the Computer Hospital, where they diagnosed it as bad capacitors and other components on the MOBO. They thought they could fix it but ended up they couldnt without replacing the board. They found a board in China for $500 just for the board. So I had to purchase another laptop. Hopefully Asus lasts longer. What a waist of money.

> 3 daySo far so good. Ive had it for about a week now and its worked pretty well. The display is beautiful. It does run warm but all gaming laptops do. Mine has maintained acceptable temps for both the CPU and GPU. A cooling pad is certainly required but thats the case for all gaming laptops.

> 3 dayI bought this to be a gaming laptop. I play games like Guildwars2 and Starwars online. Graphics are fantastic. I love the screen and there is very little loading time. It also loads new games great. My only issue was with the heat. The laptop overheats alot and that is with a fan hooked up underneath. I can play games for an hour then it overheats and crashed. I cant even touch the spot where it gets hot. Great computer just wish it didnt overheat so much
