Why would a gamers laptop not have a cd rom...horrible product

Not much hard drive space but was able to add on.

The laptop is great. Cannot get a better configuration for the money. But it does heat up and fast. I did not even try any VR yet, because I think that could fry it. And a cooling pad does not help that much. I would seriously consider getting a 17.3 inch next, for this reason alone. The screen is amazing and it is the only IPS with 144MHz I found. Overall ahppy with my choice, but this is for what I need.

First off I would like to Thank Amazon for giving me the option to pay this off in 5 Monthly Payments. By doing so I was able to get something that otherwise I would not have been able to purchase. With that being said I love this machine. I play it almost every day and there are no real issues that I have come across. It does blow some super hot air out the back so sometimes my legs get warm, but I usually have one of those laptop desks when I sit on my couch playing or simply just place it on top of a pillow when its in my lap so my legs arent as close to the machine. Im so busy playing video games on this that I really feel like I havent taken the time to unlock all the machines potential. If your some one Like me who was looking for a machine that can handle games huge games like fallout 4 and was looking to go away from the consoles (I feel like once I buy a game I shouldnt have to pay again to play it) The monthly payment was a life saver. This Machine is everything I could hope for and more. Thank you Amazon!

I have bought this laptop for congratulating him for his orchestra scores. he was very excited and happy. He said he has looked through the reviews a lot and knew what he needed. he says he Reccomends you buy a laptop cooler if you want this

Love the laptop. Had it for about 3 months now with no issues. Such an upgrade from my old used one - and at a bargain too. If youve never seen 144Hz, its eye candy. It makes 60Hz look jagged and laggy. Havent had much trouble running any of my games on max settings except for latest games. Fans run a little loud on max and gets a little hot, so just be aware when really pushing it on triple A games or trying to overclock. But its a small price for a great deal and specs. Other than that no groundbreaking flaws or performance issues. The only other thing I can think of is that the chassis gets fingerprints easily.

Its a good laptop. The casing is nice and doesnt scratch too easy. Graphics and the screen are clean. Small amount of storage but is able to fit another drive inside (I put a Seagate cude 2tb) but it tends to heat up fast on graphic intensive games. I suggest turning on power cool and getting a good laptop fan. Otherwise a pretty good laptop.

I like everything about this laptop except the battery life and I wish the back lit keyboard was brighter

Absolute gem of a machine! I could go on and on about everything I love about this laptop. But simply put, it’s easily the best laptop gaming rig out there for the price. Desktop GPUs are unheard of in a gaming laptop, yet, Acer put one in here. The screen is beautiful, the keyboard is perfectly laid out, and I can run benchmark games like Apex Legends and Assassins Creed: Odyssey on high - ultra high.
