In general a very good buy for your buck

ive been using this laptop for around 6 months now everyday gaming for at least 3 hours and the rest for work related things so average using per day is around 8-10 hours and it never let me down, temps performance are awesome for the price. just needs to have a better keyboard backlight as you will find it sometimes not so good, but its not a big deal, playing all games from high to ultra with over 120 FPS dont care about the battery but when i am using it for work. i never thought that one day i will own an awesome gaming laptop that i can use for work too.

This was a great investment so far. Works exactly how I need it to.

Just look at a photo of the track pad. I need to practically put my right hand underneath my left hand in order to left click on the track pad.... and even then Im often right clicking on accident.

To all South Africans looking to buy this item, please think very carefully before completing your purchase. As I found out, Acer considers the 1 year warranty as void when you order the laptop from Amazon USA. So when the hard drive failed after roughly 5 months of use, Acer SA would not help me at all! Never mind the fact that Acer is an international company with branches across the world, or that the product remains the same, no matter where it is produced or purchased. Their message is clear: If you purchased from Amazon USA, then we will not cover the warranty. Not even their Limited International Travelers Warranty applied! People, this is yet another example (among many MANY examples) of a huge company failing to uphold the promises made to consumers! The only ray of sunshine here was that Amazon was willing to issue a refund for the drive. Thanks so Amazon, and no thanks to Acer!

Unlike many who purchase this laptop, I am not a gamer. I just needed a reliable fast laptop and so far this is working out great. I only wish I had purchased when the price was lowered. Battery doesnt last as long as you think it would, but I cant complain. Over all this is a speedy laptop and my IT guy thinks its a sweet deal.

Ive never owned a gaming laptop and cannot really compare, but I really, really like this one. The build quality is outstanding, the whole device feels super solid, no bending plastic on the keyboard, nothing I can complain of. Ita also very fast, I am running Metro Exodus all maxed out with very decent FPS. Havent tested any other games yet, though.

I dont have a details, I just know that my son did all the research and came up with the model. He absolutely loves it and have no complains. The graphics are great and sound is amazing even without external speakers. It does make a noise when its overheated, but this is absolutely normal with gaming notebooks. Just give it a rest every few hours so it last longer. And the prices is very reasonable.
