This is an impressive laptop with a great value for money. Runs Shadow of the tomb Raider and other AAA titles on an average 70 FPS.

Fan went out a year in. Just order a replacement fan with the laptop.

Really good for gaming. It has good firepower for video editing though you would need to upgrade the hard drive. But when it comes to color correction and grading l, it fails me because the color changes sometimes by itself. Maybe its my model. But Not great for video editing. Now I have to invest in a monitor because I dont trust my laptop screen.

Ive never owned a gaming laptop and cannot really compare, but I really, really like this one. The build quality is outstanding, the whole device feels super solid, no bending plastic on the keyboard, nothing I can complain of. Ita also very fast, I am running Metro Exodus all maxed out with very decent FPS. Havent tested any other games yet, though.

I have spent around 6 months looking at computers and trying to find something good for me that will last at least 3 years, after I did my research and looked at every laptop on the market that is around 1000$ that is good for the money, then this Helios 300 came out recently although I was about to get the older one... now after 2 weeks of using this laptop, I can summarize my experience with this device:

Honestly, it feels like Im getting more than I paid for. A lot of products are just plain disappointments, especially when it comes to the laptop game these days. You end up spending a lot more on pointless bells and whistles just to get the stuff you want or need. This thing is crammed full of the stuff you want at a solid price, and its upgrade-able. And it looks really awesome in person. I love the shape and feel. I got it to play SWTOR and Elite Dangerous, and it handles both perfectly. It gets hot, as youd expect, but the heat never bothers it. I play for hours without a worry or its fans even needing to go full-on.

First gaming laptop for me. And I can’t say I am disappointed. It’s a nice machine, fast and pretty fast. Installed a couple more hard drives in there so now I got over 2 tb of space.
