Got the laptop for video editing as well as gaming and Ive had absolutely no issues. 4K renders smooth as silk and the Adobe suite loves this device. This works as advertised and I am so happy with it, that Im getting another for home.

This gaming laptop is a beast! It can handle all the games I throw at it at high to ultra settings. The 144hz monitor looks awesome. When the fans are set to Max its sounds like a leaf blower. With headphones its not noticible and great for lowering temps quickly. The laptop comes with the things youll need to install an additional HD and its easy to install.

After a month of Usage i noticed rattling sound from the GPU fan and i searched the net and found that it is a common problem , i contacted Acer Support and Amazon Support . I followed the Customer Services Instruction and did few steps with them in BIOS through the PHONE and they told it is ok now . Only after 1 week appeared again and I am frustrated as i was waiting for this Laptop too much time . I am a Doctor not a heavy Gamer at all . Another thing is the screen quality i did not notice any difference between it and usual 60 hz refresh rate screens also the very bad bleeding of the screen and very limited battery life . I am now suffering this loud annoying rattling sound from the fan which i already cleaned by a blower but nothing changed . i am trying to contact Acer support no one answering me . i will not recommend it anymore .

While I do play older games, Ive had no issue with this computer after a month and Ive played over 100hrs of online games in that time (Im loving quarantine). Boots up within 4 seconds; battery life isnt great...but pretty typical of comparable laptops.

Got the laptop, opened it, whenever I try to play a game using the discrete GPU the gpu usage spikes to 100 then the game crashes, tried everything from updating drivers to reinstalling windows to updating bios. nothing worked. probably faulty gpu.

For the price. this laptop is very good. The graphics on it are downright stunning. The build quality is very sturdy and also compact. The hard drive bay with the cable is a little wonky/cheap but it gets the job done. Two complaints. The first is that the speakers are downright pathetic, and the loudness of the fans makes this problem worse than it would be, so plan on using headphones of some sort. The other complaint is not specific to this laptop, moreso the IPS technology, but the backlight bleed is noticeable when the screen is dark. Overall this is a great laptop for the money.

Cleverly-undervolted CPU paired with a reasonably powerful GPU, a generous quantity of memory, enough storage, and a solid display, all in a fairly sturdy chassis for under $1,200 (sometimes less, if theres a sale)? Thats a winner for anyone who wants to play current and recent titles at 1080p on high-or-better settings, at high refresh rates.

Great specs for the price. Battery life is a shame, however, with only 3 hours at best. 144 Hz screen with 3 ms response is definitely a treat for the eyes. Great while charging, below average away from outlet.

It is great except for two areas of backlight bleed on the screen. These are considered “normal” unfortunately. Some bloatware but easy to uninstall
