> 24 hourThe sales ad said for Windows 10, it just had to be plugged in and it starts backing up data. This was not so for me. After several unsuccessful attempts to transfer data, I downloaded the user manual and finally, by manually going through each step, I was able to successfully download some of my files. I have not yet been able to completely transfer all files yet. Im sure it is capable of doing what it says it will do but I have not yet figured out exactly how to accomplish that.

> 24 hourMe encanta la calidad de construcción y sobre todo que es muy muy muy rápido!!! Incluso más que mi SSD M.2 que trajo de serie mi laptop. Es fácil de usar y en verdad estoy encantado.

> 24 hourThe external harddrive is nice, but the accompanying software is difficult to use and is not compatible with newer Windows.

> 24 hourI did take note of previous reviews complaining about the firmness of the connection of the cable/port. I noticed no such issues. However, Im a little disappointed with the port cover. I dont have to man-handle it, but the insert on the cover flap that secures it isnt very deep and requires a little finagling to make it stay on to my satisfaction. Transfer speed is satisfactory, and as always, depends on the speed of the connection and the other storage device yourre transferring to/from. I purchased two, for on and off-site backup, also mirrored to iDrive. First time I purchased a rugged drive, so only time will tell. The goal is always to never have to see it in action :). Note: Not regarding this drive specifically, just my research. There isnt much accountability or certification going on in the realm of calling something mil-spec. Just search online for yourself. i dont want to ding this device -- just add a word of caution before you purchase an item like this.

> 24 hourThis is my second ADAT ruggedized hard drives. My first one was fried by a power surge through my old Mac. Certainly not the fault of the hard drive. I am REALLY rough on my external drives in transport and that drive stood up to the test which is why I bought two more. I bought a 2 TB and a 4. I use it for my macbook Pro and its REALLY easy to format and partition if you want to do that. I HIGHLY recommend this product! Shipping was fast and the packaging was secure.
