> 24 hourThese blankets are amazing. When you first get them, they dont seem that soft but dont fret, they will soften in the wash a little. However, I like that they are not as soft and slick as the swaddle designs. Because they are a little rougher, they dont shrink nearly as much and are easier to fold. Another benefit to the slight roughness is that your baby stays swaddled. My little one is an escape artist and would never stay swaddled in the swaddle designs but she still hasnt been able to escape a swaddle with these blankets. And the colors are wonderful! Just as bright as the picture. And they have held up to several washings a week.

> 24 hourBest swaddle blankets ever! We have tried the swaddle me and they were too hot, and receiving blankets which do not work well for swaddling. These blankets are super long and lightweight and creates the perfect swaddle with so much breathability! My son loves to be swaddled in these and sleeps so peacefully! I dress my son in a onesie underneath and we keep our house at 72 degrees.

> 24 hourFirst of all, I will say these are great blankets...big, breathable, cute, etc. but if youve read any of the other reviews, you already know all of that. Heres what I wished I had read before I purchased: 1. If you are like me, you have no idea what the heck muslin is. Well, as they say, its a soft breathable cotton. The best way to describe it is like a cotton gauze, much like the material used in burp cloth diapers. The exception is, this is much higher quality, making it stronger than gauze, and its only 1 ply, so its more breathable than a cloth diaper. 2. This listing is confusing, because it mixes up the wraps and the blankets. If you want the larger 47x47 wraps, then go for the ones that have $49.99 listed as the list price. If you want the smaller 42x42, then go for the ones with the list price of $34.99. 3. What is so great about these blankets? I was trying to figure out why everyone was so in love with these things, and heres what Ive deduced...these are MUCH larger than other swaddling blankets, and also much thinner. So, you can wrap your baby up in a nice tight swaddle, with the blanket wrapped completely around them and under their back and they are not too bulky. If you were to have a typical swaddling blanket of the same size, by the time you wrapped up the baby, they probably wouldnt fit in the bassinet, and their head would be 4 inches off the ground. 4. You still have to have swaddling skills. This is not like a swaddleme or sleep sack swaddler. No velcro, no magic. Personally, I am a terrible swaddler and my baby was out of this blanket in 6 minutes flat the first time I used it. But Im getting better. I have no choice, since my rather large 3 month old has outgrown all of the magical swaddling options. All in all though, a nice functional set of blankets. And I have no doubt these will still be getting tons of use while the swaddlemes have long been donated away.

> 24 hourI could rave about these blankets all day. Id never heard of them until I received one as a shower gift two years ago for our first baby - I quickly realized these blankets are one of the all-time best baby products ever invented. Absolutely ideal for so many uses: swaddling (theyre bigger than typical receiving blankets, stretchy, and so soft), burp cloths when youre in a pinch (absorbent!), a great nursing cover when its hot outside (breathable and light, but you cant see through them), stroller covers, ground covers when you want to lay baby on the grass...the list goes on and on. My now-2-year-old son is never without his; its become a security blanket, too. As others have mentioned, they wash so well - they get softer the more you wash them, and dont hold on to stains (two and a half years of daily use by a messy baby-turned-toddler, and his is still pristine white). I love giving these blankets as shower gifts for first-time moms or ladies who didnt have one with their previous babies, and hearing the inevitable raves from the new mom a few months later. :) They are absolutely perfect!!

> 24 hourI LOVE these blankets! We have twins and these are now the only blankets we use. We got rid of most of our other blankets and bought several more of these. We own about 30 now. They are very breathable a d extremely soft on our babies delicate eczema prone skin. When doubled up they are also very warm, but not too warm. We live in Arizona and it gets very hot. These blankets let me wrap them so they feel secure without overheating them. I keep several in the car to use as shade from the sun on their stroller and their car seats. Keeps the sun off their face without making them hotter.

> 24 hourI bought these swaddles before my baby was born. I had no idea how amazing they would be. I saw all the good reviews and saw that everyone liked them, but couldnt imagine why anyone would want to spend so much money on something that seemed like a piece of fabric..... I understand now. These have been a lifesaver for us. They are amazing. My baby cannot sleep without being swaddled. He was born small (6 lbs 11 oz) but grew very fast (about 20 lbs by 6 months) and these swaddles still work perfectly. Hes also long, so his feet do stick out sometimes after I swaddle, but it still does the job. These swaddles are soft and stretchy and a really breathable fabric. LOVE THEM. Highly recommend these. Will buy another set for my next baby. These would be a wonderful gift for a new mom.

> 24 hourI bought these for my sister in law for gift. The pattern is very cute, true to picture. We probably have 10 Aiden and Anais blankets and love them. When my kids were infants we used them as swaddles, covers on car seats, blankets in car, shade in stroller, nursing covers and even now still have them in the car. They are a great size, high quality and wash really well. Would recommend for any family. We also have the dream blankets, which are great!
