> 24 hourWe needed 4 of these to keep our newly adopted cat out of the kitchen and bathroom cabinets. They are easy to open for anyone with opposable thumbs and a reasonable degree of fine motor control, but impossible for cats. Very easy to use and to understand, unless you have a tail, in which case these things are a conundrum. Reasonably priced.

> 24 houri got these to keep my new puppy from getting into a couple of cabinets. they re simple to install and not difficult to operate (though i do fumble with the litlle flanges one has to pinch in order t open them sometimes. they are very flimsy feeling, however. i doubt the pup is going to actually chew on them, and if she were, even very sturdy items of this sort are not meant to stand up to that. however, these are made of thin plastic. i feel i could snap then with a sharp wrist twist, unlike similar items i used many years ago when my son was a toddler. if you are planning to need them for any serious length of time, or to use them on a cabinet that you will be opening and closing often, i think they will not prove particularly durable. they are inexpensive, though.

> 24 hourthese work great. The only complaint I have is that they are kind of a pain to unlock but I can live with that if it will keep my grandchildren from getting into things they shouldnt. Plus the fact that they are not at my house that much. I would but these again.

> 24 hourWe actually used these for the cabinets so my 9-year old wouldnt get into all the snacks. Hoping the lock would at least deter her!! They were super easy to take on and a bit difficult to remove which was a good thing! We tried other methods in the past to get snacks locked up, and this was the easiest solution we found.

> 24 hourThey work well for our “I” shaped cabinet door pulls. Wish there was a way to attach the slide-on part as I constantly drop the things and it still takes me a minute to line them up to get them attached, even after 2 months. BUT they do what they need to to keep little fingers out!

> 24 hourJust received them and they were super easy to install and remove from cupboards. I feel like $11 is a bit pricey for 4 pieces of plastic, but if they work and keep my daughter safe, that’s ok with me. Measure how far your handles are from each other; the one under my sink seems to be a bit more spread apart than my other cupboard handles so it almost didn’t fit, as seen in the first picture. The cupboards still open a bit, also seen in the picture but I don’t foresee that as an issue since it’s a pretty small gap.

> 24 hourThese are easy to use. No installation. If you open and close a lot, it’s a bit of a pain to take off, and put back on.

> 24 hourOur first son was great, but number two doesnt listen to us no matter what, and just keeps going into all our cabinets and pulling everything out. We got so tired of constantly pulling him away from the cabinets and always having to keep an eye on him. This product did the trick. Its quite easy for an adult to use, and even for our 3 year old, but our 1 year old cant get into the cabinets anymore. The only annoying thing about this is having to bend over to take these off and put them back on again, but thats expected with any kind of safety latch I would think.

> 24 hourThese work just fine and are large enough to fit all of the cabinets we installed them on. The main problem is that these come apart into 2 pieces, so they require 2 free hands to use and are a little tricky to get on in a hurry, compared to the single piece locks that can be taken off with one hand. All in all, they work just fine while they’re on, but you probably won’t want to use them on something you open often, like a pantry while cooking.

> 24 hourBought this for our dog, wanted to show that we are using these for horizontal handles instead of the vertical ones. Even though they can be opened, it takes a decent amount of force to open them, which our dog cant. I really liked the fact that you can move these around without having to worry about those stick on pads. They seem pretty well built, but well see how they will fare against the determination of my dog wanting his treats. Overall, for the price and utility, its a great buy.
