Aftershokz Aeropex Mini (Rebranded as Shokz OpenRun Mini) Bone Conduction Wireless Bluetooth Headphones

I normally dont do reviews but This things are awesome. it sounds like your ear is a speaker and because they dont go in to your ear you are aware of everything around you. the battery last a long time to. i used them at work 8 1/2 hours listing to music and making calls and at the end of the day the battery was at 60%. They are worth the money. i just wish they were not made in china but i had a hard time finding any made in the US.

These are fantastic if you need to be aware of your surroundings. The build quality and packaging are fantastic. If that is your priority, look no further. But be aware, these have limitations. The sound quality is not as good as traditional buds or cans AND more importantly there is an unbelievably annoying problem where the volume is automatically lowered over and over again. Ive had this problem when connected via Bluetooth to both OSX and iOS. There seems to be some sensor, somewhere, that thinks it ought to mute output. It makes the product unusable and no matter how many times you reset your bluetooth chipset and or update software, this will keep happening over and over. The volume just keeps going down, by itself. Its a real bummer :(

Wish the headset was adjustable. Also I’m never sure if the headset is off so I have to recharge because the battery is dead but I thought it was off.

My trekz titanium died in one ear so I got these. I use them for work because Im in and out of noisy environments and I need to use ear plugs regularly but other times I need to hear whats going on.

Better sound than my Plantronics PLT headset. Comfortable, also convenient it doesnt cover ear canals. Wishlist would be smarter Bluetooth switching from phone to PC and less echo for callers at higher volumes. Still recommend.

Love that I can hear the music clearly, yet, I can hear the traffic, too!! Excellent for bicycling! So safe!

Bought these because I have been spending 8+ hours a day on conference calls since COVID. I was getting ear infections from wearing AirPod pro’s too much. Really can’t stand over the ear headphones for longer than 30 minutes. Tried these out & love them for sitting in my home office on calls all day. Completely eliminated the ear issues I was having. As advertised, great for working out.

I cannot stand hearing my own foot fall through my bones when I have earbuds inserted into my ear canal. These allow me to listen to music while running or walking.

Tl;dr - Overall, an incremental update to the Trekz Air, but still an excellent product for outdoor activities.
